Natasha Emeny went viral after posting a video on TikTok of her mortified reaction to discovering that her 1-year-old son had opened his late grandfather's urn and eaten some of his ashes.

A British mother was left in horrified shock when she discovered her one-year-old son had gotten into his late grandfather’s ashes while she was putting away laundry.

In a now-viral TikTok video, Natasha Emeny, from Lincoln, England, initially films her son Koah playing in a toy-strewn living room. The camera then reveals a table and couch dusted with gray powder.

“Oh my God. When your son eats your dad’s ashes,” Emeny exclaims, panning to a brown urn as Koah begins to cry.

"My son has eaten my dad’s ashes!"

She later told The Daily Mail that the urn had been on a high shelf, but Koah still managed to reach it. "I was mortified. I'm still trying to process it!"

Reassuring followers, Emeny told The Sun's Fabulous Online that Koah was fine and had only ingested a small amount. Days later, she posted selfies with her son, writing, "Been a crazy 48 hours since this little one opened up my dad’s ashes 🙈."

As the video gained popularity and went viral, comments were all over the place.

First, people were immediately concerned for her.

Folks noted that he was the one who was crying, not the mom.

Koah is fine after the incident, even if this video will probably be on rotation at major events in his life from now on.

Woman Horrified After Accidentally Shattering Roommate's $249 Louis Vuitton Chocolate Purse

A leading rule, however, should be: If you break something that belongs to your roommate, you should replace it.
