Well, that was certainly more than we bargained for...

One TikToker is going viral on the social media platform after revealing to followers the grave mistake she made while munching on a sleeve of crackers.

TikTok user @brennaj77, also known by her name Brenna, was tucking into a sleeve of crackers that she thought were covered in seeds...

i think it’s about time for new prescription glasses…. #fyp #AFairShotWithBlock #ant

...only to come to the shocking realization what she thought were seeds were actually ants.

The 12-second video has raked in an astonishing 19.6 million views, received 2.6 million likes, and garnered a reaction from over 44,000 people in the comment section.

Many comments were filled with shock and disgust as viewers realized Brenna was, in fact, snacking on little critters.

The video began with the camera on Brenna who looked visibly distressed and near tears.

Viewers soon got an explanation for this seemingly visceral reaction when Brenna flips the camera around to show viewers the sleeve of crackers she had been eating. Ignorant to its unwanted ingredients, Brenna had consumed two before realizing the black spots on the crackers she originally identified as seeds were actually ants.

Text overlayed in the video read:

"i thought they were seeds...i've already eaten two."

The caption to the video also read:

"i think it’s about time for new prescription glasses…."

Brenna's prescription lenses may not be doing as good a job of aiding her vision as previously thought.

In a follow-up video, Brenna recounted the experience to her captivated audience, sharing she first noticed the unwelcome insects in the crackers "when the flavor started tasting like pennies."

Brenna went into further detail, relaying the taste of the ants was not dissimilar to "chewing on coins."

AOC Offers Hilarious Take On Why Trump's Golfing Amid Iran War Might Actually Be A Good Thing

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke frankly with MeidasTouch Network's Pablo Menriquez when asked about President Donald Trump's second-term golfing habits, pointing out why Americans might actually want him on the "golf course more than you want him in the Oval Office."

She said it was “awful” that Trump was golfing while the U.S. is at war with Iran and facing rising prices, arguing he should be focused on his responsibilities instead.

Tucker Carlson Issues Somber Apology For 'Misleading People' Into Supporting Trump: 'We're Implicated In This'

Acknowleding that he's "implicated in this for sure," former Fox News host Tucker Carlson lamented his support for President Donald Trump on his show this week and issued an apology for "misleading people" into supporting him.

Carlson has broken with Trump over different issues over the last several months. His remarks come shortly after he criticized Trump for launching a war with Iran and urged U.S. military aides to refuse any orders involving the killing of Iranian civilians. Trump responded by calling Carlson and other high-profile conservative critics “stupid,” attention-seeking, and out of step with his political movement.

Karoline Leavitt Gets Brutal Reminder After Claiming Trump 'Follows Through' On His Promises

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was quickly reminded how easily President Trump waffles on his own decisions after she claimed that Trump "does not bluff" when he says he's going to do something.

Leavitt appeared on Fox News to defend Trump's handling of the war in Iran and to criticize media outlets who reported that Trump's claims of progress—which include threatening Iranians with further destruction for not fully opening the Strait of Hormuz—don't align with what's actually happening on the ground.
