Oscar Nominee Offers Unapologetic Response After Criticism For Her View-Blocking Oscars Dress

Tems, who was nominated for co-writing Rihanna's song 'Lift Me Up,' only needed a few words to convey how she felt.

People on social media had a lot to say about the dress Tems wore to the Oscars on Sunday night. Tems, however, did not.

The singer-songwriter - who was nominated for co-writing Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" - wore a white gown featuring a large piece of fluffy fabric that wrapped around her head.

Throughout the night, viewers of the Oscars took to Twitter to comment on the outfit, many pointing out the audience members behind her who appeared to struggle to view the stage.

It seems that Tems became aware of the dress-induced social media frenzy and offered a few words in response - no, literally just a few.

The star took to Instagram to post several snaps of the gown accompanied by the caption, "Uh Ohh!

She also tweeted the photos with a single word: "Oops."

A few on social media felt the gown choice was an inconsiderate one.

But most came to her defense and celebrated her three syllables of acknowledgement, noting she looked absolutely stunning nonetheless.

We have to agree she looked absolutely stunning... and we've yet to hear complaints from those sitting around her.
