Far-right influencer and former kickboxer Andrew Tate faced swift mockery after taking to X, formerly Twitter, to proclaim that "sex is for making children"—and if you're a man who has sex with a women because it "feels good," then you are "gay."
Wait, what?
Tate, who once claimed he's fathered at least 10 children, wrote the following message:
"Sex is for making children. Any man who has sex with women because it 'feels good' is gay. Oh my pee pee feels good this is great!"
"In fact if you are 40 with less than 5 children you're probably gay. All that feel-good pee pee sex and hardly any genetic legacy?"
You can see his post below.
If Tate meant for his post to be taken seriously, he sorely miscalculated—because people let him have it.
Tate's provocative comments have led to his removal from various social media platforms and raised concerns about his promotion of misogynistic views among young males. He has openly acknowledged that he is "absolutely sexist" and "absolutely a misogynist."
Tate faces numerous charges of sexual violence and abuse in both the United Kingdom and Romania. He and his brother were detained in Romania in connection with a U.K. investigation into alleged sexual abuse of multiple women.
Although they face potential extradition to the U.K., a Romanian court ruled that they cannot be extradited until they stand trial in Romania for human trafficking. The brothers were arrested in 2022 after the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DICOT) investigated reports that they held at least six women captive in houses in the Bucharest metropolitan area.
The victims of this scheme say they were sexually assaulted and forced to produce pornographic videos while in captivity. Tate and his brother have denied all charges and professed their innocence.
