The horror author had fans recoiling after sharing an AI-generated image of President Trump as a taco to troll him.

Famed horror author Stephen King had fans recoiling after he trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an image of Trump as a taco that was generated using artificial intelligence.

For those who missed it, Trump recently criticized Wall Street analysts over their new "TACO" acronym insult, which stands for "Trump Always Chickens Out."

The acronym refers to Trump’s pattern of announcing broad tariffs that initially shake financial markets and cause stock prices to drop, only to later soften or reverse course, prompting a rebound in investor confidence and market gains.

Trump was so annoyed by this in fact that he insisted to a reporter that he "never heard" about the acronym and doesn't consider it "chickening out" when the U.S. "was dying" but is now, he said, "the hottest country in the world right now" under his leadership. He also lashed out at the reporter, saying they'd asked a "nasty question."

So King decided to join in on the fun and declared "It's TACO Tuesday!" in a tweet on X that... had people trembling.

People saw where King was coming from but to say they were pretty grossed out by it is an understatement.

And many posted disturbing AI memes of their own.

As for Trump's tariffs, prices continued to rise last month, with annualized inflation hitting 2.4%, up from 2.3% in April.

Since the majority of his tariffs on “Liberation Day” in early April, the Trump administration has sought to portray them as beneficial to the U.S. economy in the long term. Trump has rejected the idea that his tariffs are fueling inflation, claiming just last week that prices are actually falling.

However, economists warn that gradual price increases are likely to persist. Several major retailers have already indicated they’ll raise prices as a result of the tariffs, even if only as a last resort. In a survey released last month by insurance giant Allianz, 54% of U.S. companies reported they would need to hike prices in response.

JD Vance Gets Blunt Reminder After Telling Voters To Oust The 'Crazy Leadership In Washington'

Speaking at a manufacturing plant in Missouri, Vance was touting President Donald Trump’s economic agenda and trying to energize supporters ahead of the midterm elections when he appeared to misspeak.

MAGA Senator Gets Epic Reality Check After Sharing Photos Of Four Black Congressmen To Prove GOP 'Is NOT The Party Of Jim Crow'

Utah Republican Senator Mike Lee was given a dose of reality after sharing an image of four Black Republican House members to claim that the GOP "is NOT the party of Jim Crow," only for people to point out there was a glaring issue with his declaration.

Lee posted images of Representatives Wesley Hunt (R-TX), John James (R-MI), Byron Donalds (R-FL), and Burgess Owens (R-UT), apparently intending it as a political flex. He failed to note, however, that all four are departing the House after this year, without any Black Republicans to fill their shoes.
