Six Flags Mexico visitors on the Supergirl Sky Flight ride were trapped nearly 250 feet in the air as they were pelted by strong winds and heavy rain after the theme park was forced to temporarily shut down its attractions due to a storm.

A group of thrill-seekers at Six Flags Mexico had a scary experience when they got stuck on the Supergirl Sky Flight ride, almost 250 feet in the air, during a rainstorm on August 18.

Viral videos show the ride at a standstill while passengers shout for help amid strong winds and rain.

Luckily, after about 10 minutes, the ride was safely brought down, and no one was hurt.

Six Flags explained that a storm caused several rides, including the Supergirl Sky Flight, to temporarily shut down. All riders were safely brought back to the ground, and the ride started up again later that day.

The Supergirl Sky Flight, also called the SkyScreamer, offers exciting views but is at risk during bad weather because of its height. Similar situations have happened at other parks, like in 2018 at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, where riders were left hanging during a storm.

People had some immediate thoughts and feelings about this whole incident.

Lots of folks used this incident as further justification for why they just won't go on rides.

Some people pointed out the problem with being caught on this ride in particular.

And how about that weather.

Folks were already preparing their lawsuits.

Really, though, isn't this just how Six Flags is?

No incidents were reported, other than the passengers of the ride getting the fright of their lives, and drenched as well.

Photo Of Drunk Raccoon That Broke Into Liquor Store And Passed Out In Bathroom Goes Viral

This week in Virginia, someone broke into the Ashland ABC Store. The perpetrator targeted the liquor store's bottom shelf, knocking items to the floor and leaving behind a trail of broken glass and spilled alcohol.

The perpetrator also reportedly drank some of the liquor, and instead of fleeing the scene, ended up too intoxicated to leave and instead passed out in the store's restroom.
