In a continuation of the ongoing mostly-fan-made feud between Justin Bieber's wife Hailey and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, folks have taken note of the content in a recent Tiktok Live post by Gomez.

The 30-year-old singer and actress posted a message on TikTok on Thursday that many thought to be in response to the ongoing controversy surrounding a podcast interview Hailey Baldwin Bieber gave about her husband.

More specifically, the backlash Bieber faced after speaking extensively about Gomez during the interview. The fan narrative has been Hailey Bieber stole Justin or Justin cheated on Gomez with his future wife.

It doesn't seem to matter that both women have denied there's any smoke or fire to substantiate the rumors or any feud.

After Bieber's podcast appearance, Gomez was on Tiktok to discuss the launch of her new line of makeup, Rare Beauty.

"If you support Rare, I cannot thank you enough, but know that you are also representing what it means—and that is: Words matter. Truly matter."

You can see the video here:

Gomez may have been addressing fans' words directed at Hailey Bieber.

Bieber spoke on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast about the ongoing question of whether Hailey and Justin were in a relationship while he was still dating Gomez.

Gomez, in her TikTok, seemed to be obliquely addressing fans of hers who are going after Hailey Bieber online.

She stated it wouldn't be "representing what [Rare Beauty] means."

Both Gomez and Bieber have attempted to shut down rumors about this before, but the internet seized upon the opportunity to stir up trouble again.

There were those who appreciated Gomez's message.

In reference to the timing of Gomez's new documentary due out this autumn, some chose to stir the pot even further.

Now years into Hailey and Justin Bieber's marriage, people are wondering, why are they still talking about Selena Gomez?

Some drew inspiration from it all.

While others called out the double standard of putting women who dated the same men in eternal opposition while not subjecting men to the same rumors or scrutiny.

At the very least, the rumors keep fans interested, even if it's not precisely what Gomez wishes.

Treasury Secretary Blasted Over Out-Of-Touch Remark About How Many Homes People Buy For Retirement

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had people raising their eyebrows after he made an out-of-touch remark at the World Economic Forum about the number of homes people purchase for their retirement, claiming at a time when Americans are struggling with a nationwide cost-of-living crisis that some are purchasing as many as "12 homes" for their golden years.

Bessent described the administration’s strategy to limit the role of large institutional buyers in the single-family housing market, while preserving protections for smaller, independent landlords, including those who rely on rental properties for retirement income.
