Scarlet Johansson's stint on social media lasted a total of three days - and for reasons we totally understand.
On Monday's episode of The Skinny Confidential, the Avengers star shared she is "too fragile" to mess with social media.
She explained:
"I can't. My ego is too fragile."
"I can't deal with it, my brain is too fragile."
"I'm like a delicate flower."
The Marriage Story actor admitted she had Instagram account for a few days, but that only made her realize even more that she should not partake.
Johansson found herself going down the all-too-relatable Instagram rabbit hole.
"When I started realizing that I'd spent 20 minutes looking at somebody's Instagram page... someone who worked for a friend of mine."
"I now know you have a pit bull and two daughters and you live in, like, Burbank."
"I was like, I just wasted 17 minutes of time."
She continued:
"I now feel like I should move to California, get this specific dog and change my life in all these ways."
"I felt so bad, like I was missing out on this random person's life - I can't do this!"
The Jojo Rabbit actor reiterated her stance:
"I'm too fragile."
"I have so much anxiety about other things."
"I can't."

Viewers of her explanation supported her position, many noting social media can be a very toxic and cruel place, especially for female and BIPOC celebrities.

While Johansson won't be using social media any time soon, the Black Widow admitted she does get the hype and enticement, stating she acts "like a 3-year-old with their mom's phone where I get completely absorbed into it" when she has to get on to her skin care company Outset's Instagram page.
"So, that's why I know I can't have it."
