Hey all you cool cats and kittens, has Rob Lowe got a super surprise for you.

The Parks and Recreation star teased fans with a photoshoot indicating he is teaming up with American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy for a new collaboration based on Netflix's hit docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

Lowe, 56, will portray Joseph Maldonado-Passage, a.k.a. "Joe Exotic," the eccentric former zoo owner and convicted felon at the center of the series.

Rocking Joe Exotic's signature mullet and referring to himself as "Rob Exotic," the actor captioned his Instagram pic with:

"Ryan Murphy and I will be developing our version of this insane story. Stay tuned!"

Maldonado-Passage, 57, is currently serving a 22-year sentence in prison for multiple charges, including the violation of federal wildlife laws and a murder-for-hire plot against Carol Baskin – an animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue.

Audiences remain obsessed with the docuseries that followed the life and times of the self-described "redneck queer" and his ongoing feud with Baskin over exotic animals in captivity – which led to Baskin's winning a million dollar civil judgment against Maldonado-Passage and his business in 2011.

Lowe's announcement had fans chomping at the bit to see more of his take on the queer, gun-toting libertarian.

Fans weren't the only ones to chime in with comments.

Journalist Maria Shriver commented: "Oh no, are you serious."

Gwyneth Paltrow also wrote, "INCREDIBLE" and Chris Pratt gave an enthusiastic, "Oh Yes!!"

In case anyone was wondering, the new project based on the bizarre true story involving animal abuse, polygamy, and an attempted murder plot, is not the new season premise for Murphy's FX tent-pole anthology series, American Horror Story.

But Lowe's take on Joe Exotic's life would have all the makings of a horror show.

Trump Is Weirding Everyone Out With His Bizarre Comments About Whole Milk

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after he made a clarification about "hole" vs. "whole" milk—yes, really—during a press conference about bringing whole milk back to schools.

Trump signed legislation on Wednesday restoring whole milk to school cafeteria menus, a move that reverses a 2012 Obama-era policy that restricted schools participating in the National School Lunch Program to serving only skim or low-fat milk, an effort aimed at curbing childhood obesity.
