Writer Parker Molloy Compared Trump to Vinny Guadagnino of 'Jersey Shore'

Writer and blogger Parker Molloy just made a bold comparison of intelligence between the cast of The Apprentice and Jersey Shore. It looks like Vinny Guadagnino took top honors by representing his MTV reality show.

Although Molloy, who is a gender rights activist, didn't exactly put Trump and Vinny going head to head in this battle of wits, the implication was clear between their juxtaposed tweets. Molloy captioned the two stances on climate change, saying, "In case you were wondering whether the cast of Jersey Shore is smarter than the cast of The Apprentice, the answer is yes."

In his tweet from Thursday, Trump seemed to be confused between weather and climate as he addressed the frigid forecast with this blanket statement:

In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Staten Island-native Vinny Guadagnino, known for his appearance on MTV's Jersey Shore, schooled Trump with his take on climate change. Guadagnino tweeted:

I think climate change is more complex than [the idea that] global warming will make it hotter. It has to do with disruptions of atmospheric conditions, ocean patterns, jet streams and s–t like that.

His words may not have been eloquent, but he was right. Meteorologist Matt Lanza tweeted, "People mocking this, but honestly... There's a lot of acceptable & ok climate science communication, but this may be the simplest & most "real" way of putting it all."

Giphy

People cheered Guadagnino, but others said that his tweet putting the president in his place was not a smart move. To that, the reality star responded:

Per my last tweet about global warming and ppl saying it’s bad when someone from “jersey shore” educates the president etc.I get the joke but why does having a summer shore house automatically make u stupid? No smart ppl ever partied with friends on weekends?

Some don't know that Guadagnino was a political science major at SUNY New Paltz and graduated from the College of Staten Island with a 3.9 GPA.

And people Vinny's back.

Twitter loved Molloy's comparison between the two reality stars.

This user face-planted over the face-off.

But the forecast could be bright and sunny in the future.

'The Onion' Rips Ted Cruz With Brutal Headline After Yet Another Vacation During Texas Disaster

The satirical news site The Onion had social media users cackling with its brutal headline mocking Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz for once again being out of the country when Texas was hit by another deadly natural disaster.

Cruz faced considerable national backlash after he flew to Cancún while millions of people went without food and water as a result of the February 2021 Texas power disaster. At least 246 people were killed directly or indirectly; some estimates suggested as many as 702 people were killed as a result of the crisis.
