Donald Trump's Interior Secretary Just Called Trump 'The Man Who Brought Christmas Back' and People Are Roasting Him Hard

Nope.

At the White House's annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony Wednesday night, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke had the honor of introducing President Donald Trump, and he did it in the exact way Trump would want him to...

As:

"the man who brought Christmas back to America!"

You can watch the clip below:

Christmas, of course, has not actually gone anywhere, as social media was quick to point out.

And wait, what about that Trump Organization "Holiday Party"!?

The Twitter mockery did not let up.

Credit where credit is due:

In 2017, Zinke gave Trump a nearly identical introduction when he referred to the president as "the man who brought Christmas back to the nation's capital."

This is ironic, because Trump has been clear about his favorite places to celebrate Christmas, or whatever it is that he does.

On Christmas Eve last year, Trump gave himself credit for reinvigorating the phrase, "Merry Christmas."

"People are proud to be saying Merry Christmas again," Trump tweeted. "I am proud to have led the charge against the assault of our cherished and beautiful phrase. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!"

Shortly after he was elected in 2016, Trump patted himself on the back for American consumer Christmas spending and for saving the planet from being "gloomy."

"The world was gloomy before I won - there was no hope," Trump boasted. "Now the market is up nearly 10% and Christmas spending is over a trillion dollars!"

Speaking of gloomy, the mood in the White House has been darkening because of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's encroaching investigation into Trump's ties to Russia and obstruction of justice.

Zinke is also the subject of multiple federal corruption probes.

In these dark times, some are struggling to find any yuletide cheer around the White House.

Here's a video compilation of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle wishing the country a Merry Christmas, just so our bases are covered.

Good grief.

Ireland Baldwin Shares Complicated Feelings Around Perez Hilton's Hospitalization After He 'Publicly Humiliated My Family For Years'

Ireland Baldwin is speaking out after Perez Hilton's hospitalization, sharing mixed emotions while reflecting on the years she says the celebrity gossip blogger publicly targeted her family. The response comes after Hilton was hospitalized following a distressing TikTok livestream on August 4 that left many viewers alarmed.

Deputies were dispatched to the 48-year-old's Florida home, where he was later hospitalized under Florida's Baker Act, which allows authorities to temporarily detain someone for a mental health evaluation if they are believed to pose a danger to themselves or others.

Man Goes Viral After Getting Arrested For Standing On Hospital Roof Dressed As Grim Reaper And Staring At Patients

In an overuse of free will and dark humor, 26-year-old Leon Gillespie was arrested and charged a £200 fine for appearing as the Grim Reaper on the roof of the Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital in St. Asaph, Denbighshire.

Though Gillespie attempted to plead that he had appeared as a black "crow" on the roof of the hospital, the judge at Llandudno Magistrates in North Wales wasn't convinced, as the costume included a hood and a long blade, looking like the standard Grim Reaper with its scythe.

The White House Just Ripped Off Nicole Kidman's AMC Ad To Promote MAGA—And Thanks, We Hate It

The White House was criticized after it lampooned AMC's viral Nicole Kidman commercial with an apparent generative-AI parody that closely mimicked the original's visuals and soundtrack to promote the "Golden Age" of MAGA.

Instead of an AMC theater, the spoof uses the White House as its setting and replaces Kidman with a man wearing a MAGA hat.

JD Vance Slammed After Making Fat-Shaming Joke About MAGA Ally In Bizarre Clash Over Burritos

Conservatives are beefing online and the tiff culminated in the Vice President of the United States fat-shaming someone defending his boss, MAGA Republican President Donald Trump.

It all kicked off when right-wing pundit Matt Walsh posted a thinly veiled criticism of the Trump administration and the GOP likely in preparation to mount his "I told you so..." distancing if the Republicans get hammered in the midterms. Walsh slammed their broken campaign promises about grocery prices and no more wars, claiming that's why progressive candidates are doing well in primaries and polls.
