Getting warmer.

On the heels of a flurry of Tweets from President Donald Trump, quoting Fox News pundits and claiming the ongoing Russia investigation is just a witch hunt, news emerged of Robert Mueller and his team focusing on what the president knew about Russian hacking of the DNC servers and when he knew it.

Investigators for special counsel Robert Mueller asked witnesses about President Trump’s connection to hacked Democratic emails leaked leading up to the 2016 presidential election.

Mueller’s team focused on Trump's knowledge of plans by Julian Assange and WikiLeaks to publish emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and members of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Investigators looked into Trump’s relationship with Republican operative and Trump adviser Roger Stone during the 2016 campaign. Questions of Stone’s connections to WikiLeaks, the site’s founder Julian Assange, and Trump himself, including his favorable policies towards Russia, seem to be a primary focus now.

In a statement to NBC Roger Stone stated Mueller's team had not interviewed him and he “never discussed WikiLeaks, Assange or the Hillary disclosures with candidate Trump, before during or after the election.”

Moscow's interference in the 2016 presidential election, including ties between Trump campaign associates and Russian operatives, is key to Mueller's probe.

Russians successfully hacked John Podesta, the Clinton campaign chair’s, email account in March 2016. WikiLeaks released stolen emails from the DNC and Podesta leading up to the 2016 presidential election.

During the resulting controversy, Trump declared “I love WikiLeaks” at a campaign rally while reading some of the leaked messages from his phone to the crowd.

MAGA Melts Down After 'Woke' Pope Leo Urges The World To 'Search Always For Peace'

MAGA followers were not happy with Pope Leo XIV and accused him of being "woke" after he, in remarks to reporters, implored "people of good will" to "search always for peace."

The Pope spoke out after President Donald Trump insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.

CNN aired a fitting montage after President Donald Trump launched a broad attack on several conservative media figures—Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones—accusing them of being “stupid,” attention-seeking, and out of step with his political movement.

Carlson urged U.S. military aides to refuse any orders involving the killing of Iranian civilians. Owens, formerly of Turning Point USA, condemned the administration as “satanic” and called on Congress to remove what she described as the “Mad King Trump.”
