Fox & Friends often draws criticism for their hosts' comments. Openly displayed devotion to President Donald Trump, his administration staff, and family members means whatever Trump loves, Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade—the weekday couch denizens—promote.

And whatever Trump dislikes, the Fox hosts mock or otherwise attempt to discredit.

Friday morning's target was the Fridays For Future (#FridaysForFuture founded by Swedish teen environmental activist Greta Thunberg) Climate Strike. Millions of people around the world decided to join Thunberg's weekly act of climate activism with events and rallies on September 20 and 27, 2019.

Brian Kilmeade began the disdain with comments about the futility of the gesture. From there the hosts moved on to criticizing Democratic presidential candidates for understanding science and caring about climate change and global warming.

Earhardt added an attempt at humor by mentioning cheeseburgers. But as soon as the segment ended it was time for a news brief.

Top of Friday morning's news?

Extreme weather conditions—a byproduct of climate change and global warming—in Texas which caused flooding, destruction and death topped the news segment.

While Doocy, Earhardt and Kilmeade may have missed the irony, Media Matters for America—a rightwing watchdog group—picked it up, as did their followers online.

Although a few were in Fox's camp.

But not many.

While one person pointed out the shortsightedness of ignoring "kids."

Greta Thunberg began her Fridays for Future strikes in August 2018 to go to Sweden's capital and campaign for climate awareness and action. Since then many people around the world have joined her.

Trump Administration Dragged After U.S. Military Shoots Down One Of Our Own Drones Over Texas

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has long emphasized the "warrior ethos" he expects from the U.S. military but now his leadership (to say nothing of the Trump administration as a whole) is facing criticism after military personnel shot down a drone operated by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) on Thursday in Texas in yet another display of incompetence.

Lawmakers said that the military used a laser to down a CBP drone at Fort Hancock, leading the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to expand flight restrictions near El Paso, Texas. The reason for the laser use remains unclear, but it was the second such deployment in the area in two weeks, despite rules requiring coordination with aviation regulators.
