This 2016 Video of Don Jr. Talking About Russian Meddling Right After His Infamous Meeting is Coming Back to Haunt Him

Anything you'd like to take back, Jr?

On June 9, 2016, Donald Trump Jr. and key members of Donald Trump's presidential campaign met with Russian operatives inside Trump Tower in New York City hoping to obtain damaging material on Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Roughly six weeks later, Junior - who attended the Trump Tower meeting intending on getting help from Russia to boost his dad's campaign - dismissed rumors about Russian election interference efforts as "disgusting," "phony," and "lies."

No, this is not from The Onion.

Specifically, Junior was upset that Clinton's campaign manager, Robbie Mook, had previously told Tapper that Russia was meddling in the election.

Poor Junior felt super attacked.

"I can't think of bigger lies," Junior told CNN's Jake Tapper before pointing the finger at the Democrats.

"But that just goes to show you what the DNC and what the Clinton camp will do," Junior said. "They will lie and do anything to win."

Watch below:

Junior, unfazed by irony, suggested that "it's a rigged system, it's disgusting, and the people should be fed up" with what he characterized as a coordinated effort among the Democratic Party to "destroy" Bernie Sanders in the South during the primary.

"There's nothing wrong with a fair fight, Jake," Junior continued. "I don't mind a fair fight. But these lies, and the perpetuating of that kind of nonsense, to try to gain some political capital, is just outrageous."

Really?

Junior was trying to solicit assistance from the Russians to get his father elected, failed to do so, and then went on national television to accuse his opponents of foul play.

The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

What is wrong with these people?

Lies upon lies upon lies.

But her emails.

Far-right provocateur Ann Coulter is facing fierce criticism after she made a genocidal remark in a now-deleted post on X in response to University of Minnesota professor and Navajo Nation member Melanie Yazzie's speech about colonization.

Yazzie, in a speech at last year's annual Socialism Conference, said "decolonization is the only thing that is going to save us as a species" during a panel hosted by Red Nation, a Native American nonprofit that advocates for Palestinian and Native American rights. She also said that the United States is the "greatest predator empire that has ever existed" and said it should be dismantled.
