TikToker @krista.piper credits a TikTok video about what to do if your child goes missing for helping her find her lost 3yo daughter Lily at a science museum in Columbus, Ohio.

Every parent has experienced that sinking feeling in their stomach when they realize they don’t know where their child is.

Oftentimes this panic has people screaming out the name of their little one, but TikToker @krista.piper had a different technique.

When the Ohio mom realized her daughter was missing she quickly recollected a TikTok video that encourage parents to yell out a quick description of their missing child instead of their name.

That’s when @krista.piper chose to yell out, “little girl, pink Minnie Mouse shirt” instead of her daughter’s name, Lily.

You can see her video about the experience here:

Krista Piper dedicated herself to yelling out Lily’s description and quickly heard other parent’s catching onto it.

In just a couple of minutes another mom repeated the description to the TikToker and she was reunited with Lily.

TikTok applauded the mother for her quick thinking and bravery.
