Donald Trump's inner circle has been in recent news for more than a few bizarre events. Michael Cohen is adding to that list with a newly released video praising gay OnlyFans star Matthew Camp.
It comes from the online platform Cameo. Cameo allows users to pay a celebrity to record a brief video for them. Typically it's something like a "Happy Birthday" message or a congratulatory message. Fees can climb into the thousands, depending on the popularity and demand for the celeb.
Michael Cohen gets paid about $100.
Camp shared the video across his social media pages.
The 23-second clip features Cohen speaking into the camera and talking about how much fun he is having on OnlyFans with Camp.
"I just want to say how amazing Matthew Camp is on OnlyFans. Having a blast enjoying every minute with you guys. Good luck. Love it. Stay safe. Stay COVID-free. And again, OnlyFans, having a blast with him."
It's unlikely that Michael Cohen is actually "having a blast" with Camp on OnlyFans.
Rather, this seems to be another instance of Cohen saying what he is paid to say without doing any research. Most people agree that had Cohen looked up OnlyFans or who Matthew Camp was, he would not have recorded the spot; or at least would have been much more careful with his phrasing.
Cohen might not truly be "enjoying every minute," but Twitter is absolutely having a blast with Camp over this.
It is unclear yet whether Cohen or his team will respond or if Cohen will continue making Cameo videos.
