Meteor Gives Floridians A Colorful Show As It Comes Crashing Through The Night Sky

The National Weather Service reported that a meteor lit up the sky across Northern Florida on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

A weather service office in Charleston, S.C., also shared the light that was detected from the fireball.

People were stunned.

Whoa!

"Meteors coming into the Earth's atmosphere happen fairly often but we don't always get to see them," said CNN meteorologist Haley Brink.

"Nowadays we have so many satellites in space and cameras on the ground that these events are becoming more and more visible to the general public."

That's what we call awesome.
