The TV presenter, who had surgery in January, said she 'smiles' when she sees the scars in her grateful post on Instagram.

Maria Menounos took to Instagram yesterday to share a post of gratitude.

Radiating in a brown two-piece swimsuit, the TV presenter, who had pancreatic cancer surgery in January, showed off the scars where she had a tumor, part of her pancreas, her spleen, a large fibroid and 17 lymph nodes removed.

Accompanying the stunning photo, Menounos wrote:

"I look back on surgery earlier this year and am grateful for the strength god blessed me with to get through and of course all of the beautiful humans that he sent to help me too!"
"Now I see the scars that I sunscreen up carefully to protect and I smile. ❤️"

Viewers of the post commended Menounos for showing off her "battle wounds" and noted that scars are reminders of her bravery and perseverance.

Menounos, who was also diagnosed and treated for a benign brain tumor in 2017, opened up about her pancreatic diagnosis with People back in May.

The diagnosis came shortly after she and husband Kevin Undergaro found out their surrogate was pregnant with their first child.

She shared:

“This whole year has been trauma, stress, crisis."

But Menounos was still beyond grateful for their "miracle."

"I'm so grateful and so lucky."
“God granted me a miracle."
“I’m going to appreciate having her in my life so much more than I would have before this journey.”

Stephen Miller's Wife Ripped After She Shades CBS Reporter Who Cried Foul Over Spiked '60 Minutes' Segment

Political adviser Katie Miller—the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller—was sharply criticized after she mocked CBS News reporter Sharyn Alfonsi, who'd earlier sent an email to her colleagues calling out CBS News' Bari Weiss for killing a 60 Minutes segment about El Salvador's notorious CECOT prison facility.

In October, Paramount chief executive David Ellison unveiled a deal, valued at $150 million, to purchase Weiss’ contrarian outlet The Free Press, while also installing her as the top editorial leader at CBS News. The move fueled speculation among media analysts that Ellison was attempting to bolster the network’s credibility with President Donald Trump and the broader MAGA base.

Healthcare Workers Share The Common Medical Myths That Drive Them Crazy

It's safe to say the majority of people have a somewhat romanticized view of medicine, largely owing to soap operas or prime time medical dramas.

Others have an equally skewed, if somewhat sadder, grasp on medicine, after being raised to fear or not trust doctors.
