The singer shared that her love of 'Star Wars' was inspired by her dad after a guest-starring role as the Duchess of Plazir-15 on the hit Disney+ show.

Music star Lizzo shared an emotional connection to the original Star Wars trilogy in an Instagram post celebrating her cameo in the latest episode of Disney+'s The Mandalorian.

The "About Damn Time" singer appeared in the sixth episode of the popular space Western series' third season alongside Jack Black as one of the rulers of Plazir-15, a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories.

A carousel of photos featured Lizzo on set in her galactic finery with some of her human and alien co-stars, fitting in perfectly in the world of Star Wars.

In her caption, she wrote about having a full circle moment with the show and why her appearance in a galaxy far, far away was near and dear to her.

"When I was a young girl my dad introduced me to Star Wars like a rite of passage," she began.

"The trilogy’s are his favorite movies and quickly became mine."
"When Jon Favreau called me and offered the role of The [Duchess] I cried all day wishing my dad was still with us cus he’d be so proud."
"Star Wars was a dream I never thought was possible—but thanks to Jon, Bryce, and everyone in the galaxy I am now part of the ever-expanding saga of the stars."
"I am in honorable company and forever grateful."

She concluded her humble post with an iconic Star Wars phrase of goodwill.

"This is The Way…. and May the Force be with you."

Fans geeked out over Lizzo's cameo in the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise.

Jack Black, who appeared on the show as Captain Bombardier and husband to the Duchess, also shared his enthusiasm teaming up with Lizzo on The Mandalorian.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie star wrote:

"So fun working with @lizzobeeating on @themandalorian as the king and queen of Plazir-15!!!"

Based on a clip Lizzo posted, it appeared the rulers of Plazir-15 got on well together behind the scenes.

Rolling Stone's review of the episode read:

“If the episode had only featured Grogu leaping into Lizzo’s arms and later helping her cheat at a space version of lawn bowling, it would have been enough."

The Mandalorian takes place five years after the events in Return of the Jedi and the fall of the Galactic Empire.

The story follows a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter played by The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal who goes rogue to protect the child Grogu after initially being hired by remnant Imperial forces to retrieve the infant.

The show was created by filmmaker Jon Favreau–who is heavily involved in Disney's spate of MCU films as an actor, director, and producer.

The Mandalorian's first season launched on November 12, 2019, and was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards and won seven Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

A fourth season of the immensely popular show is already in the works.

Dem Rep. Offers Brutally Accurate Reason For Why He Can't Understand 'The Mind Of Donald Trump'

Massachusetts Democratic Representative Seth Moulton made a fitting observation about President Donald Trump's mind after Trump gave a 20-minute address to the nation about his war in Iran on Wednesday evening.

Trump claimed “core strategic objectives are nearing completion” in the Iran war and vowed to strike Iran "extremely hard" over the next two to three weeks. He said that he would finish the job "very fast," without setting any timeline for ending the war. He pledged to "bring them [Iranians] back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.”

Racist Guy Caught On Video Tearing Through Iraqi Soccer Fans' Banner At Dallas Airport: 'Don't Come To America'

With the United States set to host the 2026 World Cup, a video out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is drawing attention for a very different reason: showing a man ripping apart an Iraqi soccer fan’s banner and telling them, “Don’t come to America.”

The video, posted on Instagram, shows a group of Iraqi sports fans standing in an airport holding a banner with Arabic and Spanish writing. The fans were there to support Iraq during their World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, which resulted in a 2-1 upset victory earlier that day.
