The anti-LGBTQ+ account was suspended after just nine days on the social media site Bluesky—and users are applauding the X alternative for its actual content moderation.

The internet is rejoicing after a homophobic account called "Libs of TikTok" was banned by the microblogging social media site Bluesky, an alternative to that other platform owned by the transphobic billionaire and President-elect Donald Trump's biggest cheerleader.

Libs of TikTok, run by former real estate agent Chaya Raichik, is a handle for various far-right and anti-LGBTQ+ media with content that emboldens the MAGA contingent to spread harmful rhetoric and cause death threats to members of the LGBTQ+ community.

According to Clearsky, Libs of TikTok became the second most blocked account on Bluesky and was suspended after just nine days of posting inflammatory political content.

Users flocked to Bluesky, and away from X (formerly Twitter), in increasing numbers after President-elect Donald Trump won the 2024 election in an attempt to distance themselves from Trump's closest ally, Elon Musk.

The anti-trans Tesla CEO has repeatedly deadnamed his estranged trans daughter in interviews and claimed he lost "his son" to the "woke virus."

Bluesky users celebrated the news of their favored site essentially closing the door on Libs of TikTok on December 2.

Former Democratic Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia lauded Bluesky, saying:

"This is why bluesky is going to be a success. Real moderation."
"Libsoftiktok is racist, homophobic, and actually causes harm to others. They can keep their bullsh*t elsewhere."

The move was deemed a victory against hatred.

A website with actual proper moderation? Where dangerous deranged people are actually banned? Am I in a dream?

it’s almost like their content is bullying people under the guise of “politics”! good to see a platform that’s SANE for once and can actually SEE that

It's crazy that all they want to do is spread hate on every platform. Then cry about freedom of speech.

Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik was featured in a Fox and Friends segment in which she blasted public schools for allegedly offering minors " pornography."

Raichik said:

"Every single day in America, our children are under attack, specifically in the school system, and that's what I seek to expose every single day."

Her introduction was in response to a news report about a Maine sixth grader who showed his father a book he found objectionable on display at his school's library.

The book was Alice Oseman's graphic novel featuring the characters "Nick & Charlie" from Netflix's LGBTQ+ teen romance series Heartstopper. The teen male characters are lying in bed together, fully clothed, and reading a book.

Raichik said "the issue of pornography in schools" was something she's been discussing since starting Libs of TikTok.

You can see the interview here.

Raichik's rhetoric is reflected in her account, which falsely accuses LGBTQ+ inclusive schools and adults of "indoctrinating" and "grooming" kids.

The false claims publicized on Libs of TikTok have caused outrage among conservatives and have led to LGBTQ+-themed family events, such as Drag Queen Story Hour, being targeted by right-wing extremists like The Proud Boys.

One LGBTQ+ student group at South Dakota State University faced a bomb threat after Libs of TikTok shared misleading posts with manipulated video footage featuring a drag show intended for all ages.

To whip up outrage, the video was allegedly spliced with footage from the previous year's age-restricted version of the same event.

Raichik, who also believes gender-affirming surgery is a form of "child abuse," disseminated false information via Libs of TikTok relating to misleading news of hospitals offering gender-affirming bottom surgeries.

The deceptive posts consequently led to hospital employees being subjected to harassment and the hospitals they work for facing bomb threats.

Bluesky wants none of that toxicity on their site, and neither do we.

MAGA Fan Has Unhinged Meltdown After Starbucks Barista Doesn't Call Out 'Charlie Kirk' With Her Order

For anyone who isn't familiar with Starbucks ordering protocol, the cashier will ask for a name to put on the cup.

When the order is done, the barista will call out the name on the cup to let the customer know their order is ready. However, if there aren't many people in the store, it's not uncommon for a person to just have their drink handed to them or brought to their table if they're seated.

Melania Trump Dragged After Sharing Bizarre AI 'Teleportation' Video

First Lady Melania Trump was mocked after she retweeted a bizarre AI-generated video that shows her teleporting into a building with the caption "Into The Future."

The video was first shared by the X account @MelaniaMeme. In it, the digital Mrs. Trump appears to teleport into a high-rise—likely Trump Tower—with a glittering cityscape in the background. She steps forward, looks directly into the camera, glances down, then back up again, without uttering a word.

Bad Bunny Hilariously Trolls Fox News Over Their Super Bowl Outrage In 'SNL' Season Opener

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny took aim at Fox News and the conservative outrage over his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show during the season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live over the weekend, joking that all of his critics have "four months to learn" Spanish if they're that bothered about him singing in his native tongue during football's biggest night.

Bad Bunny will be the first Latin male artist to headline the halftime show, but many of President Donald Trump's supporters have vowed to boycott the event. At least one far-right figure said Bad Bunny "will just further divide the American people" and suggested that either the right-wing performers Kid Rock or Jason Aldean should headline the show instead.
