Caitlyn Jenner Wonders Why High Speed Rail Is Needed When People Can Just Fly In Trainwreck Interview

Caitlyn Jenner Wonders Why High Speed Rail Is Needed When People Can Just Fly In Trainwreck Interview
Fox News

Caitlyn Jenner, the reality star and former Olympian who is running as a Republican in California's gubernatorial recall election, has been embarrassing herself online with a series of strange answers during various interviews.

During a recent appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity, for instance, Jenner expressed a fairly strong opinion about high-speed rail in California.

Jenner commented to Hannity:

"Here's my crazy thinking. We are now spending billions of dollars on this high-speed rail, OK, and they talk about it all the time, between LA and San Francisco. And I'm going, 'Why are we doing that?' I can get on a plane at LAX, and I'll be in San Francisco in 50 minutes. Why do we need high-speed rail?"

Twitter was quick to make fun of Jenner, who didn't seem to understand jumping on a private jet like Jenner isn't an option for most people.

Jenner's understanding of basic life leaves something to be desired.

Jenner failed to mention what people should do if they don't have a plane in a private hanger as she does.

During the same interview, Jenner made several other embarssing faux pas, including attacking trans teens who play sports despite her own history.

Jenner is just like you or me—a former Olympian from a lifetime of privilege whose family had a television show and would rather take her private plane than take the train.

Jenner seems to have a talent for putting her foot in her mouth.

She fits right in with other Republican politicians.
