Jenna Ellis Mocked After Hilariously Clueless Post Slamming MAGA Supporters

Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis was met with mockery after she just seemed to realize that MAGA supporters have no 'basis in fact or reality.'

Jenna Ellis—a former member of former President Donald Trump's legal team who pleaded guilty to charges that she tried to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia—was met with mockery after she just seemed to just realize that MAGA supporters aren't exactly known for accepting reality.

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, Ellis wrote:

"So many tweeets on this platform from MAGA have absolutely zero basis in fact or reality."

You can see her post below.

That was rich, coming from someone who was until recently at the forefront of the MAGA movement to thwart the electoral process and who the former President counted among his legal counsel.

She immediately faced backlash from Trumpists who once saw her as a force in their movement to delegitimize the electoral process.

But those who've been actually paying attention to the MAGA movement this whole time were openly incredulous.

Last month, Ellis entered a guilty plea in the Georgia election subversion case, marking a significant turn as the third individual to plead guilty within a week. This decision entails her cooperation with Fulton County prosecutors, extending from her involvement in spreading false statements concerning the 2020 election.

Ellis pleaded guilty to one count of aiding and abetting false statements, a felony stemming from the dissemination of election misinformation to Georgia lawmakers in December 2020. The verdict led to her sentence of five years of probation and a restitution order of $5,000. A tearful statement she delivered disavowed her previous engagement with Trump altogether.

The recent string of guilty pleas, including those from former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, who was involved in the creation of Trump's fake electors scheme, is a boon for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, increasing the likelihood of trials against key figures like Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, and others who have pleaded not guilty.
