In a terrifying situation, a 12-year-old boy walked into class, pointed gun at teacher's face and pulled the trigger.
Quad-City Times is reporting that according to court documents an Iowa boy brought the Smith & Wesson .22 to school to shoot his teacher. He pulled the trigger, but the safety was on, and prevented the gun from going off. The teacher was then able to wrestle the gun away from the child.
The unidentified boy is now being held on charges of attempted murder at the Scott County Juvenile Detention Center. He has not been named publicly because he will be tried as a juvenile. It is unknown where he got the gun.
