'Game Of Thrones' Just Released Some First-Look Images From Season 8 That Have Fans Hyped
HBO

Winter is here in more ways than one. The final season of the beloved series Game of Thrones begins airing in only two months. Unsurprisingly, actors, writers, and the network alike have all remained tight-lipped about what to expect for the show's endgame.

While HBO has not given us the gift of a trailer yet, they did drop some character images on Twitter this past Wednesday that have set the world on fire about as effectively as Drogon.

There's Jon Snow's familiar brooding.

Cersei Lannister has found herself all alone.

Especially since her brother, Jaime, has left King's Landing.

Tyrion Lannister is ready to give some stern but loving advice to his Queen.

Varys is still weaving his spiderwebs.

Samwell Tarly may have made a new discovery.

And Brienne of Tarth is still living her best sworn oath to Lady Catelyn life.

Sansa Stark is right at home as the Lady of Winterfell.

Arya Stark still looks like she has some tricks up her sleeve.

While Bran stares into the web of time.

Ser Davos Seaworth seems to be processing the hard fight ahead.

And of course, there was Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons, perhaps considering adding another title to her name.

Vanquisher of the Night King perhaps? Though Jon Snow would probably get in on that title too.

Of course, there were jokes about Daenerys and Jon being aunt and nephew.

Though there were still plenty of people hardcore stanning this couple.

But most were waiting with baited breath for a trailer.

C'mon HBO! We're waiting!

Kyrsten Sinema And Joe Manchin Give Dems And Labor Unions The Middle Finger With Vote

Outgoing Independent senators Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona) and Joe Manchin (West Virginia) gave Democrats and labor unions the middle finger by siding with Republicans to oppose confirming President Joe Biden's renomination of Lauren McFerran for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which will let President-elect Donald Trump seize control of the board next year.

NLRB is the federal agency responsible for safeguarding employees’ workplace rights. Sinema and Manchin's decisive “no” votes doomed the nomination, as all Senate Republicans also opposed it. Only one of their votes was needed to secure McFerran’s confirmation.
