Influencer Sparks Debate After Revealing She Doesn't Hang Out With Anyone 'Less Attractive' Than Her

Influencer describes importance of having equally attractive friends

Content creator Emily Wilson explained her reasons on Jamie Kennedy's 'Hate To Break It To Ya' podcast—but her logic didn't sit well with everyone.

We all grew up with these concepts of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "beauty comes from within," but in the age of social media, our appearances are being measured more than ever.

While some people still believe that a person's actions and beliefs should speak louder than how they look on camera or how they dress when they go out for the day, there are others who believe the latter two points are much more important.

So much so, that they decide whether or not to be friends with someone based on that information.

Content creator Emily Wilson is among those people, stating that she values "attractiveness" so much that she won't befriend someone she deems as "less attractive" than she is, citing jealousy and being around like-minded people as her core reasons.

While on the "Hate to Break It to Ya" Podcast, Wilson argued:

"I don't hang out with anyone who is really less attractive than me."
"There's too much drama. All the girls I've been friends with who were less attractive than me... It's a jealousy thing. It's an attention thing. They're really shady, [and] they'll try to sleep with your boyfriend. It's just the worst."
"You need to be with equals."
"All of my girlfriends are hotter than me. They're stunning."
"I love being around beautiful women. I think when you're a beautiful woman, you have value just by being beautiful. I love being around pretty things, pretty people, and pretty places."
"I don't know, a lot of other people may see it differently, but I love it."

Emily Wilson is becoming well-known online for her divisive content. In her "Hate to Break It to Ya" interview alone, Wilson commented on attractiveness, not taking accountability for triggering other people, feminism, and entrepreneurship.

Just like this video, viewers were incredibly divided between those who followed Wilson's reasoning, while others were actively side-eyeing her commentary.

Trump Reacts To Conspiracy Theorist FEMA Official Who Claims He Once Teleported To A Waffle House

President Donald Trump appeared noticeably confused after CNN asked him about FEMA official Gregg Phillips' bizarre claim that he once teleported to a Waffle House 50 miles away.

Phillips, a former top Texas health official, was appointed in December to lead FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery—a division with more than 1,000 employees—despite a background that raised questions. For instance, before taking the role, he had made unverified claims, including allegations about election fraud.
