TV celebrity doctor and GOP Senate nominee, Mehmet Oz, misspelled the name of his Pennsylvania address on his official declaration of candidacy form.
Oz, who was backed by former Republican President Donald Trump, had been living in New Jersey prior to his announcement of running for the United States Senate seat in Pennsylvania.
But instead of writing "Huntingdon Valley" on his statement of candidacy form, Oz inadvertently swapped out the "d" with a "t", resulting in, "Huntington Valley."

While a town called Huntington does exist in Pennsylvania, Huntington Valley—which Oz wrote on the form—does not.

Business Insider also noted the address Oz jotted down on his declaration of candidacy form for the Federal Elections Commission was a commercial space, not a residence.

Oz was scrutinized last year for using his in-laws' Keystone State address to register to vote in Pennslyvania, despite living in New Jersey for several years, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Spokesperson Erin Perrine defended Oz by stating he was living in Bryn Athyn —a municipality in Montgomery County next to the village of Huntingdon Valley—where "his wife's family has lived for a hundred years."
"Dr. Oz lives in Pennsylvania, votes in Pennsylvania, and has his medical license in Pennsylvania," stated Perrine.
"Dr. Oz grew up in the Greater Philadelphia region, less than 5 miles from the PA border."
"He went to school in Pennsylvania, met his wife and got married in Pennsylvania, and 2 of his children were born in Pennsylvania."

Oz will face Democratic nominee John Fetterman, Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, in November.

If Oz does win, he would succeed the Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Pat Toomey–who chose not to run for reelection to a third term in 2022.
By then, Oz would legally have to reside in Pennsylvania.
