Trump Is Reportedly Claiming He's 'More Popular' Than Taylor Swift—And People Can't Even

'Rolling Stone' is reporting that the ex-President has been privately griping to 'people in his orbit' that he's actually 'more popular' than Swift, who is likely to endorse Biden in the 2024 election.

Arguably, former Republican President Donald Trump's most famous accomplishment is his ability to lie about literally anything. But his latest is mendacious even for him.

Trump reportedly thinks he's more popular than Taylor Swift. Please take as much time as you need to stop laughing yourself unconscious.

Sources close to Trump reportedly told Rolling Stone that Trump is worried about the fact he will not get Swift's endorsement—and that he's angry about it too since he's actually a bigger deal than her.

The staffers told the magazine that Trump expects that Swift will endorse Democratic President Joe Biden once the election is closer.

The New York Times recently reported that Swift is top of the Biden campaign's list of celebrity endorsements they hope to rack up over the course of the election season.

But Trump is convinced that even Swift's vote of confidence won't help Biden's chances.

Rolling Stone reported:

“The former president has told people in his orbit that no amount of A-list celebrity endorsements will save Biden.”
"Trump has also privately claimed that he is 'more popular' than Swift and that he has more committed fans than she does."

The "more committed" part is probably true because no cult membership—er, fandom, rather—is more committed than Trump's. But are there as many fans as Swift's? That seems incredibly unlikely.

That didn't stop Trump aide Jason Miller from making one of the worst Taylor Swift lyric references ever when asked about it by Rolling Stone.

"Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'"

Oh brother. The campaign is so sure of this, they've declared a "holy war" on Swift, whatever that means.

On social media, even many Republicans thought Trump's take on Taylor Swift was absolutely delulu.

President Trump, if you're reading this, please keep talking sh*t about Taylor Swift. Please. It's a great electoral strategy and will help you a lot! Go get 'em, tiger!
