It's far from unusual for President Donald Trump to blame his predecessor, former President Barack Obama, on any point of criticism of his own administration.

Trump was ridiculed recently for blaming Obama for the shortage of crucial coronavirus tests in the face of the epidemic. In addition to that, he's blamed Obama for everything from negative press coverage of Trump to unsatisfactory air conditioning in the White House.

While on one of his infamous early morning Twitter screeds on Monday, the President criticized the Obama administration as the most corrupt in history.

He's retaliated against career officials who dared to comply with congressional subpoenas, while pardoning those convicted of using government positions for profit.

For once, Trump was being modest: corruption is one of the few endeavors Trump has succeeded at where Obama didn't.

People kept bringing receipts.

The President's delusional tweet comes as COVID-19, or novel coronavirus, continues to spread throughout the United States. While other countries have instituted major temporary precautions to curb its spread, Trump has downplayed the virus as a bogeyman propped up by the media.

The corruption continues.
