Don Jr. Roasted After He Tried To Turn The Titanic Sub Tragedy Into Another Conspiracy Theory

The eldest Trump son's suspicions about the Titan submersible tragedy were instantly shut down on Twitter.

Donald Trump Jr. was ruthlessly mocked online after his attempt at creating some sort of conspiracy theory around the ill-fated Titan submersible suffered a "catastrophic implosion."

OceanGate Expeditions which crewed the submersible for paying guests to visit the Titanic wreckage issued a statement Thursday morning announcing all five passengers aboard the chartered vessel which had been missing since Sunday were believed to be dead.

Coast Guard officials said the debris found Thursday morning during their search was "consistent with a catastrophic implosion."

Prior to the tragic announcement of the passengers' fate, the eldest son of twice impeached former Republican President Donald Trump–who is currently indicted in multiple criminal cases–suggested the sub going missing was "sketchy" and there might have been something malicious going on.

As usual, Junior made his claim without providing any evidence or details.

On Wednesday morning, Don Jr. tweeted:

"Literally everything I’ve seen about this missing submarine is insane and sketchy AF."
"almost none of it makes any sense whatsoever."
"How long till we find other external factors making it even more so???"

Twitter users rolled their eyes over Don Jr. being dramatic and for exploiting the developing news story as the clock was ticking to locate the Titan before passengers inside ran out of the 96-hour oxygen supply.

Some users humored him with their own outlandish theories.

On Thursday, a remote-operated vehicle (ROV) found five major pieces of debris from the Titan submersible about 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic.

Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger told reporters:

"The debris is consistent with the catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber."

He added he was unsure of when the implosion took place.

OceanGate said in their statement:

"We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost."
"These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world's oceans."
"Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time."
"We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew."
