Daniel Radcliffe Reacts To Jimmy Fallon's Favorite 'Harry Potter' Memes

Daniel Radcliffe Reacts To Jimmy Fallon's Favorite 'Harry Potter' Memes
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon/YouTube

He's one of the biggest stars ever, and he doesn't even know it!

Perhaps the biggest marker of fame today is memes: if you've been "meme-ified", you're an icon. So it's no surprise that the internet is full of Harry Potter memes. But the star of the films, and the guy who brought Harry to life, Daniel Radcliffe, had no clue what was out there when he recently went on The Tonight Show to promote his new Broadway play, The Lifespan of the Fact.

When Fallon asked Radcliffe if he could name any notable Harry Potter memes, the actor said, "Nothing that I can immediately remember. I don't seek them out," adding that, "I feel like I should be educated!" When Fallon cued up a handful, Radcliffe's reactions were nothing short of a delight.

The first was a picture of a pug in Radcliffe's iconic costume of round glasses and tie titled "Harry Pugger," to which Radcliffe said, "What's not to like? It's great! Cute pun, cute dog."

A second, which riffed off Jay-Z's iconic song "99 Problems" and was captioned, "If you're havin' Quidditch problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a snitch ain't one," made Radcliffe wax philosophical.

"You know, what's cool about that stuff is that I never—as a kid and you're just insecure at that age—I never felt cool at any point playing that character and sort of these things go like, 'No, that was cool,'" he mused. "People thought that was pretty cool!"

Aww. This is why we love him--he's one of the most relatable, down-to-earth icons out there!

On social media, people were feeling the Harry Potter love too:

And while not everyone was entirely convinced by this appearance...

MTG Just Admitted The Awkward Truth About The Republican Healthcare Plan On 'The View'

Speaking on The View, Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke about sparring with House Speaker Mike Johnson over healthcare—and revealed that the GOP does not have any replacement for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) despite what Johnson and her fellow congressional conservatives tell the public.

Democrats have continued to reject Republicans’ proposed continuing resolution to keep the government open without considering an extension of the premium tax credit that helps subsidize health insurance for people earning between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level.

People Share The Best Ways To Shut Down A Debate With A Flat Earther Family Member

The Flat Earth conspiracy theory is strictly a modern online movement, rumored to have begun as a prank, that gained momentum among people who mistrust authority through the power of social media.

There is a persistent myth that Europeans in the Middle Ages believed the Earth was flat. But that is a 19th-century fabrication to sell Columbus Day, not historical reality.
