TikToker @riyadhkhalaf captured his dad's shocked reaction to learning the grey kitten was his.

Anyone who has ever had and enjoyed a pet understands just how big of an impact that new furry friend can have on someone's household and overall life.

In many cases, they become much more than a pet. They become a family member, a best friend, and a confidant.

So when Riyadh Khalaf, or @riyadhkhalaf on TikTok, heard his dad talk for months about wanting a kitten, he knew he needed to follow through. But he never could have expected the extent of his dad's reaction at realizing his dream had come true.

You can watch the video here:

Excited for the big reveal, Khalaf placed the Russian Blue kitten named Lulu in a super comfy cat bed up on the kitchen counter where his dad would immediately see her upon entering his home.

When the front door opened, Khalaf's father gasped and covered his mouth with his hands.

As he approached Lulu, pointing out how cute, tiny and clean she was, he was shocked to find out this kitten was for him.

He even went so far as to ask if he could hold his own cat.

The moment Khalaf's father picked up the kitten seemed to seal the deal. Not only did he realize he had a kitten of his own, but he proudly strutted around the kitchen with her in his arms, looking in his kitchen window reflection at the two of them together.

Khalaf's father endearingly said:

"Don't mess with my Lulu."

TikTok was over the moon with the wholesome video.

In a follow-up video, the TikToker confirmed the pairing was better than they'd ever imagined.

Khalaf wrote in the caption:

"It was love [at first] sight."

TikTokers were left feeling even happier than after the first video and they were hoping for more cat dad content.

So much so, some were suggesting cat dad get his own TikTok account so he can post about his adventures with Lulu at home, in the car and beyond, as often as he would like.

Something tells us CatTok would welcome his videos with open arms and paws.

Guy Admits His Ignorance After Girlfriend Educates Him On What Really Happens During Menstruation—And He's Horrified

Women's health should be much more common knowledge than it is, but many subjects related to women—especially menstruation, pregnancy, and childbirth—are still considered pretty "taboo" subjects in public spaces, in shared educational spaces, and, of course, among men.

That's why there are so many men like TikToker @connortalkslol who only start finding out what menstruation really is and what the cycle entails when they go looking for the information themselves.
