Around the time Courteney Cox was entertaining us with her dance moves alongside Bruce Springsteen, she was also educating the world on the wonders of Tampax.

In 1985, Cox graced our television sets as she passionately explained how "Tampax can change the way you feel about your period."

Now, 37 years later, Cox is revamping her ad, making it relevant to those who may have matured beyond their tampon years.

Cox, who is now 58, shared a brilliant split video on Instagram in which she updated her lines to reflect the "joys" of menopause.

The video cuts back and forth between the 1985 commercial and her current video, with Cox sporting very similar purple workout attire.

Cox captioned her post:

"My commercial needed an update."

In the video, 2022 Cox asked:

"Did your life completely change because of menopause?"
"Still getting hot flashes? Let me tell it to ya straight."

Cox then shared:

"Menopause will change the way you feel about getting older. Menopause will eat you alive."
"It's horrible. Nothing else can do that."
"Plus, you get the added bonus of drier skin, and getting bald patches. Now that's something."

Cox sums up the struggles of menopause:

"Remember, there is nothing good about menopause. It can actually change the way you feel about getting older."

Fans and fellow celebrities alike chimed in, applauding Cox for both her humor and her honesty.
