During his show, Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Cohen appeared shocked by his guest's beauty, Ciara Miller a cast member on the hit show Summer House on Bravo. The reason he was taken aback?

She is a nurse.

After welcoming his guest, Cohen said:

"Hi Ciara. You're looking so beautiful. Wow."
"You're actually a nurse, and this is what you look like?"

Cohen's seeming unfamiliarity with the concept of an attractive nurse led viewers to take offense.

Many jumped on Twitter to air their grievances with Cohen's comment.

One nurse posted:

"Andy darling. What do you think nurses look like."
"We don’t live in scrubs."
"There are many gorgeous nurses."
"I work with many of them."
"So your comment you’re a nurse and look like that. It’s a bit insulting."
"Shout out to my Ochsner nurses."

Another person shared:

"We’re not frumpy old ladies wearing white dresses and caps anymore."

Some nurses also threw up some pics to prove it:

And another lamented:

"Why did Andy say 'you’re a nurse and this is what you look like?!'"
"As if nurses aren’t attractive."
"Ciaira is obviously STUNNING but I know many beautiful nurses."

As the interview progressed, Cohen apparently caught wind of how his comments landed.

He said:

"I just want to say before we move on, I have offended the nurses of America and internationally."
"I apologize."
"I was merely mentioning that Ciara looks like a supermodel."
"I know that many nurses look like ... it's no condemnation of nurses."

Ciara jumped in, saying:

"All nurses are hot."

Cohen continued on to say:

"All nurses have the biggest hearts in the universe, and they are beautiful inside and out. I am sorry if I offended anyone."

For some, his apology was insufficient.

One person tweeted:

"[Andy]¿ You don't say... I'm sorry IF I offended anyone, that makes the offended the problem (why are You so defensive? you shouldn't be offended)"
"You say, I'm sorry THAT I offended anyone, because You Did Offend a number of people (nurses, in this instance). Thank you."

Also appearing on the show was seven-time Grammy Award winner John Mayer, who was bartending on the show.

He asked Mayer if his statement was "satisfactory."

The musician replied:

"It saved my woke little heart."

Fans were disappointed.

One said:

"Dude, I love you, but the nurse comment was just freaking stupid."

Though Cohen acted quickly in the interest of damage control, it seems for many his apology was too little, too late.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
