Bullied Boy Says He Didn't Fight Back Because 'It's Not The Jedi Way'—And His Mom Is Speaking Out

Bullied Boy Says He Didn't Fight Back Because 'It's Not The Jedi Way'—And His Mom Is Speaking Out
Facebook Lizette Casanova

This week ten-year-old Aiden Vasquez was bullied and physically abused at school and still took the high road.

Aiden's mother Lizette Casanova took to social media to vent her frustration at a school that isn't keeping her son safe from bullies. The latest encounter marks the second time her son has received stitches due to altercations with bullies at school. Yet, despite the unchecked abuse, young Aiden says he won't fight back. Speaking to KMIR he said:

I told my mom, I got it from 'Star Wars,' that it's not the Jedi way.'

Casanova isn't backing down and went to the school board of Two Bunch Palms Elementary in Desert Hot Springs, where Aiden attends, saying:

I want to be able to tell you guys everything. I want to tell you about how the kids follow him and chase him and tell him to commit suicide.

Feeling as though she isn't being heard, Casanova took to Facebook to share what was going on.

Aiden's response of being like a jedi caught the attention of Luke Skywalker himself, actor Mark Hamill, who sent this message.

Messages of encouragement came in for Aiden.

We hope Aiden and his mother get some help from the school district in handling this problem.

TikToker Sparks Debate With Viral Theory About How Men's Meat Intake Directly Relates To Their Attitude Towards Women

There have been correlations brewing on social media, especially TikTok, about toxic masculinity and a person's relationship with cats, arguing that men who do not like cats are more likely to be toxic and entitled because they don't like interacting with an animal that requires consent in order to exchange affection.

Now, a similar theory is brewing about meat consumption and views on vegan products, like soy, and tofu, in relationship with toxic masculinity. With a certain entitlement to have meat at every meal, preferring the flavor of meat over the environmental impact, and the entitlement and convenience of easily-acquired protein, all speak to features of toxic masculinity.
