Bullied Boy Says He Didn't Fight Back Because 'It's Not The Jedi Way'—And His Mom Is Speaking Out

Bullied Boy Says He Didn't Fight Back Because 'It's Not The Jedi Way'—And His Mom Is Speaking Out

This week ten-year-old Aiden Vasquez was bullied and physically abused at school and still took the high road.

Aiden's mother Lizette Casanova took to social media to vent her frustration at a school that isn't keeping her son safe from bullies. The latest encounter marks the second time her son has received stitches due to altercations with bullies at school. Yet, despite the unchecked abuse, young Aiden says he won't fight back. Speaking to KMIR he said:

I told my mom, I got it from 'Star Wars,' that it's not the Jedi way.'

Casanova isn't backing down and went to the school board of Two Bunch Palms Elementary in Desert Hot Springs, where Aiden attends, saying:

I want to be able to tell you guys everything. I want to tell you about how the kids follow him and chase him and tell him to commit suicide.

Feeling as though she isn't being heard, Casanova took to Facebook to share what was going on.

Aiden's response of being like a jedi caught the attention of Luke Skywalker himself, actor Mark Hamill, who sent this message.

Messages of encouragement came in for Aiden.

We hope Aiden and his mother get some help from the school district in handling this problem.

Conspiracy-Obsessed 'Stranger Things' Fans Dragged After Crashing Netflix Over Nonexistent Secret Finale

Well, folks, the Stranger Things fandom has officially proven it will not go quietly into the night. Or the Upside Down. Or even a Netflix homepage that’s functioning normally.

On New Year’s Eve, a viral conspiracy theory dubbed “Conformity Gate” convinced a portion of the internet that the blockbuster Netflix series had one more episode hiding in plain sight. Despite Netflix very clearly releasing what it billed as the two-hour series finale of Season 5, some fans became convinced the real ending was still out there.
