All bosses want to maintain good relationships with their employees.

While some will simply do their best to always be kind, courteous and understanding, others like to have a little more fun.

This includes the boss of TikToker @culinaryflaire, who posted a video capturing her boss letting the office leave early for the weekend, on one quirky condition.

Three days since being posted, the video has received over 3.5 million views.

It was a Friday and he was the hero 🫡🙌🏽😂#worklife #9to5 #officelife

Declaring "It was Friday, he was the hero" in the video's caption, the 27-second video began with employees lined up down the hall of the unidentified office, with the situation explained both in voiceover and overlay.

"Our boss said if any of the four employees putt the ball in the cup, we all get to leave the office early."

A golf ball was then captured rolling down the hall, as the anticipation could be heard from all watching, before finally rolling into the cup.

The crowd was then captured erupting in celebration on the unexpected early start to their weekend.

The video elated almost all who watched it, with several applauding the unknown boss' methods of boosting morale among his staff.

While a few wondered if this mystery company is in fact Dunder Mifflin, from the popular sitcom The Office, and this fun and lovable boss was Michael Scott, Steve Carrell's character.

One TikToker was curious how many tries it took before they succeeded in their early dismissal, leading @culinaryflaire to post a follow up video.

Reply to @stephlee310 only 1 🤣🤣🤣

@culinaryflaire revealed in the video's caption that there was only one failed attempt before the successful hole-in-one captured in the previous video.

And as captured in the video, the first attempt did not go smoothly.

After seeing the first brave employee putt, the ball ended up swerving right into a column, and ricocheted in-between the feet of another employee.

And while the first video ended with triumph and celebration, this one ended capturing a wave of disappointment.

But thankfully all ended well, and @culinaryflaire confirmed in the comments section that everyone was still paid for a full day of work, even after going home early.

It was probably wise that @culinaryflaire never disclosed the name or branch of her current company.

As their HR department would no doubt be inundated with calls for months to come.
