And speaking of "thank u, next," her single off her eponymous album just made music history by dominating with top three songs ("7 Rings" at No. 1 with "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and "Thank U, Next") on the Billboard Hot 100 – a feat not seen since The Beatles in 1964.
Now, the singer just broke yet another record.
According to BBC, Grande became the most followed woman on Instagram. Until now, Selena Gomez was sitting pretty with that honor with 146,228,000 followers.
Although Grande didn't usurp the throne by a landslide, she has more than 146,336,000 followers.
That's a whole lot of adoration.
Remember how exciting it was to be voted as the most popular person in high school? Well, multiply that excitement by a gajillion and you'll understand the world of popularity relevance on social media.
Mashable noted that her sudden boost in popularity may have had something to do with her hiatus from social media back in September 2018. By the time she returned on January 14, her fans on a Grande withdrawal.
