@kingmade_nuke22 explained the situation he and his colleagues quite unexpectedly and shockingly found themselves in with the video's caption.

"I’ve been at Amazon for 2 years so the owner of the company decided to shut our job down and open up a DSP in another state!"
"He decided to tell us today with no warning we have 2 weeks left which means everybody is out a job people out here crying."

Amazon DSP's are a third party service where entrepreneur's partner and train with Amazon to start and run their own Amazon delivery service, hiring their own fleet of delivery drivers to pick up packages at Amazon warehouses and then make deliveries.

The just under one minute video began by capturing one of the female drivers who just learned she had lost her job, hunched over and audibly sobbing until a male colleague came over to comfort her.

The video's overlay explained what led her to her heightened emotional state.

"Her boss laid everyone off because they're moving into a new state."

The camera then panned around the solemn gathering of drivers, all of whom appeared to be stunned silent by this most unwelcome revelation, with others offering each other a hug for comfort.

The woman's sobs could be audibly heard throughout the remainder of the video.

The video ended with what appeared to be their supervisor informing the unlucky drivers their boss would be relocating to Arizona to be closer to his family,

@kingmade_nuke22 and his fellow recently unemployed colleagues were met with an abundance of sympathy in the comment section.

Others took this as an opportunity to bemoan how situations like this happen far too often in America.

Though Amazon was not directly responsible for this particular situation, many took an opportunity to call out the conglomerate and its founder/CEO Jeff Bezos.

While the poor working conditions of employees at Amazon warehouses have been highly publicized, conditions for DSP drivers have proven to be not much better.

A report from ProPublica revealed Amazon DSP drivers had been involved in numerous road accidents, 10 of them fatal, since 2015 because of the driver's need to stay on schedule.

Amazon repeatedly declined responsibility for these accidents, because the drivers are not their employees, but rather independent contractors.

An unfortunate situation all around for those hard working drivers in @kingmade_nuke22's video.

Here's hoping bigger and better things await them all.
