The singer told her Las Vegas residency audience on New Year's Eve that she has to 'waddle' due to the painful condition.

Because of how we see Hollywood through the media's eyes, it's sometimes hard to picture celebrities as having the same issues as the rest of us.

So, when Adele revealed that she suffers from sciatica pain at her Los Vegas concert on New Year's Eve, her fans had an outpouring of support for her.

The beloved singer took a moment to address the crowd during her concert at Ceaser's Palace.

“I have to waddle these days as I have really bad sciatica.”

As opening night for her performance approached, Adele postponed it due to not feeling like herself. So when she announced to the crowd that she suffered from sciatic pain, fans responded with sympathy.

Fans took to Twitter to show their support.

Other fans offered advice to the singer.

Ola Ojewumi, a disability lifestyle expert, tweeted about Adele's confession, commending her for her bravery.

Ojewumi went on to say that it's not like the condition will force Adele to quit singing.

Sciatica is a chronic condition that causes neuropathic pain through the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve passes through the lower back and down the legs. This can affect an individual’s ability to walk, sit, or stand for long periods of time, among other things.

At this point, Adele doesn't appear to have any plans to quit her signing career and continues to push through the pain in order to perform.
