Adam Driver Shuts Down 'Ferrari' Moviegoer's Criticism With Bluntly NSFW Response

The actor was not impressed with a man's criticism that the film's crash scenes looked 'cheesy' during a Q&A following a screening at the Camerimage Film Festival in Poland.

Actor Adam Driver was among the honored guests at the recent Camerimage Film Festival in Torun, Poland, where he appeared to promote his forthcoming film Ferrari.

But things took a bit of a turn when he tangled with a fan who didn't quite care for the film. It centers on the life of car-racing legend and sportscar namesake Enzo Ferrari, and the fan didn't think the car crash scenes were quite up to snuff.

When he told Driver so, the actor had two very simple, concise and to-the-point words in response: "F**k you."

The fan asked Driver:

“What do you think about crash scenes? They looked pretty harsh, drastic and — I must say — cheesy for me. What do you think?”

It's one of those things you are free to think and feel, of course, but why would you say it out loud to someone who worked so hard on the film, and had nothing to do with its visual effects?

Driver was not having it. Cool as a cucumber, he replied:

“F**k you. I don’t know. Next question."

And that was that on that.

The film is directed by Michael Mann and also stars Penelope Cruz and Shailene Woodley.

Driver was honored with the festival's highest acting honor, the Special EnergaCamerimage Award for an Actor. Maybe to that fan, that meant he was in charge of special effects, too?

On social media, many fans applauded Driver's blunt response to the fan's question.

Ferrari comes out on Christmas Day, if you want to see the "cheesy" car crash scenes and write Adam Driver a letter about it or something.
