Social media users pounced with jokes after MAGA women spoke to the Washington Post and the New York Times about the lack of "masculine" men in Washington, D.C., which is hilarious for a party pretty much obsessed with the way "real men" act.
The notion that masculinity is being attacked–namely by the left wing–is a popular one among Republicans such as Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who once accused "the Left" of hurting "the future of the American man" and went on to claim the "deconstruction of America begins with and depends on the deconstruction of American men."
But the left can't in theory bear responsibility for the "death" of traditional masculinity—a ridiculous notion in and of itself—given that MAGA women who spoke with reporters say they're not at all inspired by the MAGA men around them.
According to Morgan Housley, who was among several right-wing women who lamented to the Washington Post the challenges of dating in Washington, D.C., the dating pool remains sparse despite the number of young MAGA loyalists working in the administration.
The majority of D.C.'s residents voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris in the last election and Housely said it doesn't help that the MAGA men who are available are:
"Not fit, workaholics and not taking finding a wife seriously.”
She added:
“I felt like, being in conservative politics, there would be more, like, masculine men in the conservative movement, and I find that a lot of them aren’t as masculine as I would have hoped.”
Quite the confession.

Meanwhile, a MAGA woman named Natalie Winters told the New York Times that the guys she’s met actually aren't into women at all:
“The funny thing is, I had a lot of girlfriends who wanted to move here,” she said. “They thought the dating scene would be really great, that MAGA would bring in a whole wave of, like, you know, eligible, conservative, smart, enterprising men.”
"Everybody's freaking gay."
Oh dear.
And people couldn't help but crack jokes.
The dating pool in D.C. also suffers because liberals largely refuse to date people they believe support fascism—and could have supported or even attended the January 6 insurrection, the day a mob of President Donald Trump's supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol on the false premise the election was stolen.
Susan Trombetti, CEO of Exclusive Matchmaking, noted:
“I have a really open guy, and they’re like, ‘What? He’s a Republican?’ And automatically they go to: ‘Did he go to the insurrection? Did he attend the insurrection?’”
(Fascist) actions have consequences.

When beginning a courtship, we tend to look for a few things in potential suitors.
Charm, kindness, thoughtful gestures, good looks all come to mind.
There are, of course, some men who go above and beyond the expected gestures.
But are these gestures or behaviors something we should be happy about?
Or could they possibly be disguising things that should have us very concerned indeed.
Redditor Prestigious_Funny_94 was eager to heat the common behaviors from "nice guys" that are, in fact, serious cause for concern, leading them to ask:
"Women of Reddit, what's the most common 'nice guy' behavior that is actually a massive red flag?"

Far too many people earn an undeserving lot in life thanks to their innate charm.
If you suspect something might be off, be sure to follow your instincts, and don't let that charm fool you...
Halloween, a time for treats, tricks and...knocking over other people's lawn decor?
Maybe that last one is more unique, but it is the experience of Californian Tonyia Sampognaro and the witches on her front lawn this year. In a series of videos captured by Sampognaro's Ring cam and then later made public, a jogging woman stopped after running by the decor, then doubled back and punched the life-size witches on the lawn.
This was not a one time thing, either. Sampognaro's outside camera caught this particular mischief-maker in action twice: once on October 11 and again on October 21. Each time, she jogged past, then gleefully came back to the witches to punch them—on one occasion making sure the one she punched hit the ground, and the other time punching every witch in the row.
Many people were incensed.
In fact, folks were cooking up some pretty diabolical revenge plots in the comments.
Some empathized with the jogger, having felt the urge to punch lawn decor before.
Also, some context that might be helpful here is that Sampognaro said she had seen the jogger doing other odd things in public around town, so there might be something larger going on here.
"[seen her] talking to cars in the parking lot at the grocery store...talk[ing] and writ[ing] scriptures on the sidewalk...So it could very well be a religious thing. I don’t know if it’s that or if it’s mental illness, I just don’t know. It’s really bizarre, though and it’s creepy.”
But how can you be mad at someone who is that happy to be causing relatively minor mischief?
Who are we to stand in the way.
Some argued that it looked staged.
Slapstick humor is funny for a reason.
Halloween this year falls on a Friday evening, to the delight of children and parents everywhere.
MAGA Republican President Donald Trump traveled to Asia to address the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit being held in Gyeongju, South Korea, October 31 - November 1, 2025. Trump is scheduled to leave Thursday, before the summit formally begins.
APEC is an inter-governmental forum for 21 member economies in the Pacific Rim that promotes free trade throughout the Asia-Pacific region. In advance of the meeting, Trump visited Malaysia, then Japan.
In Japan, Trump's behavior at a welcome ceremony with the country's first female Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, went viral across social media, causing the White House's Rapid Response account to lash out on X.
In addition to commentary on Trump’s cognitive decline, the internet and foreign press were abuzz with stories of foreign leaders manipulating an overly vain and insecure Trump through flattery and shiny gifts—a weakness American business leaders have also been accused of exploiting.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt bragged that Prime Minister Takaichi would nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump has been desperate to receive the honor since his first presidential term, and he claimed in 2019 that former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also nominated him for the prize.
Glittery golden gifts awaited when Trump landed in South Korea to meet with President Lee Jae Myung on Wednesday.
Air Force One was greeted on the tarmac by a South Korean military band playing a rendition of the Village People’s hit "YMCA"—a Trump favorite. A 21-gun salute was also fired off.
The South Korean leader later presented Trump the Grand Order of Mugunghwa—Korea's highest honor reserved for heads of state—and a replica of the Gold Crown from Cheonmachong during their luncheon at the Gyeongju National Museum.

According to The Korea Herald, the crown is a "specially gilded replica of the Gold Crown from Cheonmachong, a Silla Kingdom (57 BC- AD 935) artifact considered to be the tallest, widest and most ornate of Korea’s surviving ancient crowns. Crafted by cultural heritage specialist Kim Jin-bae, the replica is intended to represent leadership and dignity."
Trump's latest golden gift is being met with more mockery than dignity on social media.

Trump's last item on his Asian tour itinerary is a sit down with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The White House hasn't disclosed whether Trump plans to wear his new crown for the meeting.
We all know the feeling of working hard to pick out the perfect gift for a loved one, only for that person to not appreciate all of our effort.
Once we give a gift, the recipient is free to do whatever they want with it, though that doesn't remove the sting of dismissiveness and disrespect.
Allegedly, the mother of X user @katherinejaayne is a professional cake decorator, and she was floored by the opportunity to bake a special cake for none other than mega popstar Katy Perry.
But Perry did not react in the way @katherinejaayne and her mother had hoped. The X user shared a video of Perry dressed in a Wonder Woman-esque costume while standing in front of her birthday cake, which was a large and lovely white sheet cake with intricate details in the frosting, as well as a screen print in the middle of Perry in action.
Perry looked pleased as she glanced around at the crowd. She then held her hair back as she blew out her birthday candles.
Someone in the crowd made an unheard comment, and Perry made a faux shocked face at them before getting a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
Then Perry picked up the sheet cake and ran away from the table, chased down one of her crew members, and threw the sheet cake at their head. They ducked out of the way just in time, leaving the cake in shambles on the floor.
A few cast members dipped their fingers into the top of the cake, where it had not touched the floor.
The X user said of the video:
"My mom was the one that baked this cake. She was so excited about the opportunity to make a cake for Katy Perry and spent so long on it."
"[I'm] genuinely confused and upset as to why she [Perry] would do this."
You can watch the video here:
Some fellow X users genuinely sympathized with @katherinejaayne about the incident.
But others made a joke of the video.
And a few pointed out that it was Perry's cake to do with as she pleased.
We can all probably imagine how this cake decorator was feeling. But as soon as a cake leaves the shop, it's the client's cake, and it's theirs to enjoy—by eating it or by smashing it.
