As the holidays approach, we are all gearing up to eat several of our favorite family recipes.

Family recipes are a sacred currency from generation to generation, and we know not to share them...

...unless our family really wrongs us, which was the case with this particular gay teenager when he came out to his family.

Therefore, a family recipe has gone viral.

The tumblr user, "mysteries," shared his story:

from tumblr

He began:

"When I was little my mum's meatloaf was my favorite food. But ONLY her meatloaf. I didn't like anyone else's, and she told me that she would teach me how to make it when I was older."
"And when I was like 19? She finally taught me, but she told me never to tell anyone else and I was like weird but OK."

He ended:

"Anyway, she was super f**king homophobic and abusive to me when I told her I was gay, so here's the recipe."

He goes on to share the recipe in an act of sweet, gay revenge.

In practice, this recipe apparently doesn't hold up and comes out of the oven very dense.

But as they say, revenge is a dish best served loaf.

Er...yeah.

Something like that.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Dunks On Trump For Hosting The Kennedy Center Honors

California Governor Gavin Newsom trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated photo of himself accepting the inaugural—and not real—"Kennedy Center peace prize" from Trump.

The photo accompanied a post in which Newsom mocked not just Trump but also Ric Grenell, the Kennedy Center's president, whom Newsom referred to as a "janitor" in a post that—like many of Newsom's past posts—is written in a style not unlike the rants Trump publishes on Truth Social.
