The singer looked uncomfortable after her appearance on the jumbotron at the Super Bowl was met with a chorus of boos—and a lip reader has an idea of what she said in response.

Music icon Taylor Swift, who showed up for her beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was booed at the Super Bowl game on Sunday in New Orleans when her face appeared on the jumbotron.

The Philadelphia Eagles ultimately prevented the Chiefs from a three-peat victory in their seventh appearance at the annual NFL championship game at the Caesars Superdome with a 22-40 defeat.

The Chiefs struggled to make up for the widening score gap, and when Swift's face appeared on the jumbotron for the first time in the game, the crowd relentlessly booed.

Since Swift started appearing at Chiefs games to root for Kelce after the two began dating in 2023, unforgiving sports fans have grown weary of the media giving attention to the singer, perhaps feeling threatened by a celebrity of her status encroaching on their territory.

They even accused the singer of "ruining football" despite her highly publicized relationship increasing NFL ticket sales, TV ratings, and demand for Kelce jerseys.

However, Sunday's booing seemed to confuse Swift this time around, prompting her to give a side-eye, laugh, and mouth something to her entourage that included rapper Ice Spice.

Here's a clip.

A lip reader provided some expert insight as to what the "Bejewled" singer may have uttered while she was being relentlessly booed.

According to the Daily Mail, lip reading expert NJ Hickling explained Swift appeared to have said:

"Aww what, what's going on?"

Another lip reader, Jackie G, had a slightly different interpretation of what Swift said, reading her reaction as: "I wonder what's going on..."

Social media users, including non-Swifties, felt for her and wondered why she was constantly subjected to such hatred.

The majority of the booing likely originated with Eagles fans, who are notoriously aggressive and abusive with their heckling.

Moments after the booing, tennis legend Serena Williams came to Swift's defense and wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"I love you @taylorswift13 dont listen to those booo!!"

Nevertheless, Swift remained focused on her man as the Chiefs continued struggling on the field.

Body language expert Judi James also weighed in with her observations of Swift.

James told the media outlet:

" Taylor Swift began in signature sweetheart mode….she looked as excited and busy as usual in the VIP section, chatting and whispering with one hand over her mouth like a teenage fan."

James added:

"[But] with her boyfriend's team losing badly by halftime and Travis standing dejected below her…..she gazed out at her lover unsmiling with her hands splayed and gripping the rail in a gesture of grim support."

Despite the icy reception Swift herself received, James noted that Swift kept her composure and remained a "good sport" throughout the jeering.

"She held her pose bravely but her eyes rolled to one side and then the other in a gesture of disbelief," noted James.

Ahead of the game, Swift expressed concerns that her presence could upstage Kelce and his Chiefs teammates, given the high-profile nature of their relationship.

"Taylor doesn't want to be the center of attention," a source told The Sun.

"She just wants to support Travis and help him focus on the game."

The outlet added:

"She wants Travis to enjoy his Super Bowl week experience and be at 110% for Sunday, as she is dreaming about him making Super Bowl history and reaching another dream of his, winning another Super Bowl and making a three-peat."

Alas, a historic third consecutive Super Bowl win was not in the cards for Kansas City.

As for the winning team, Sunday's game marked a second Lombardi Trophy for the storied Eagles franchise.

The leadup to the Super Bowl had many fans speculating on whether or not Kelce would propose to Swift depending on the outcome of the game, but the chances of that became less likely.

An insider revealed that even if the Chiefs did make a three-peat victory, a proposal wouldn't have romantically unfolded on the field as the couple prefers a more "private" engagement.

"Travis going to have to go above and beyond, but it won't be a public spectacle," said the source, and continued:

"When the time comes, people will know about it. But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy."

The insider additionally claimed the 14-time Grammy winner and Kelce, known as one of the greatest tight ends in history, are well aware that "the whole world is so thirsty for them to be engaged" and found all the rumors to be "extremely humorous."

Teacher Stunned After Student Argues That People Shouldn't Have To 'Think Anymore' Thanks To ChatGPT

There's no doubt that ChatGPT and similar tools are growing in relevance and application, and they're growing fast. The problem is that many people, especially younger individuals, seem to struggle with how much they should depend on the tools.

We already knew that ChatGPT could be a problem regarding critical thinking and creativity, so maybe we should have anticipated the mindsets that would develop, snubbing independent thinking when tools like ChatGPT are available.

Republicans Slammed For Soulless One-Word Response To Democrats' Trans Day Of Visibility Tweet

According to research by the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law, transgender people in the United States were over four times more likely than cisgender people to be victims of violent crime based on statistics from 2017-2018. A study by the non-profit Everytown for Gun Safety found the number of trans people murdered in the U.S. nearly doubled between 2017and 2021.

In the last 5–9 years, those figures have only increased as the Republican Party has made trans people the target of many of their political campaigns and legislative actions.

Pete Hegseth Slammed After Calling Off Investigation Into Army Helicopter Fly-By At Kid Rock's House

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was criticized for calling off the U.S. Army's investigation after MAGA musician Kid Rock posted a video of an Army Apache helicopter doing a fly-by at his Nashville home.

The video shows Kid Rock saluting as the aircraft hovers near his property, standing next to a replica Statue of Liberty by his pool. In the brief clip, a helicopter that appears to be an AH-64 Apache—an attack helicopter used by the U.S. Army and National Guard—flies at low altitude near his estate in Whites Creek.
