A Miami area student was arrested and charged with battery on a school employee after he allegedly attempted a WWE signature move on the principal of its high school.

The principal of Miami South Ridge Senior High School told police that Gianny Sosa, 18, assaulted him in the second-floor hallway by attempting an "RKO."

An "RKO" stands for "Randy Keith Orton," the wrestler who invented the move.

It involves "grabbing an opponent by the neck, jumping into the air and driving his head onto the mat in the fall."

The defense attorney, Roy Ugarte is arguing that the offense "shouldn't have been arrestable."

"Everyone knows wrestling is fake," Ugarte said to the judge, according to the Miami Herald.

"He should have been placed in detention and not arrested."

The Office of Communications for Miami-Dade Schools said, in a statement:

"Miami-Dade County Public Schools works diligently to cultivate a safe learning and working environment for students and staff."
"It's unfortunate that anyone would instigate a situation for self-promotion that could bring harm to others."
"Instances of disruptive and threatening behavior will be handled swiftly and result in severe consequences. In addition to an arrest, the student's lack of judgment will result in disciplinary actions in accordance with our Code of Student Conduct."

But Sosa's family isn't buying it.

"My brother is not the type of guy who goes out like this and is not a thug on the streets," said Mike Sosa.

He also says the principal's conduct was completely unacceptable.

"He grabs my brother in a headlock and punches him in the head."

And Danny Cage says he'll train Sosa for free if he gets back into school and finishes with straight A's.

And is into Sosa channeling his energy into the sport.

We hope he makes good on this promise.

Conservative mouthpieces Candace Owens and Meghan McCain are feuding over the late far-right activist Charlie Kirk, and things got really messy after Owens shared one of Kirk's alleged text messages to her.

Kirk was assassinated in September while speaking at an event in Utah. In the months since, Owens has distanced herself from many figures on the far right, accusing them of exploiting his legacy—at times even sharing private communications she had with him.

Kent, a former Green Beret and political candidate with ties to right-wing extremists, was confirmed last July in a 52–44 vote to lead the National Counterterrorism Center, where he oversaw efforts to analyze and detect terrorist threats.

Gavin Newsom's Wife Claps Back Hard In Viral Video After Trump Mocks Newsom's Learning Disability

Jennifer Siebel Newsom—the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom—criticized President Donald Trump after he claimed her husband's dyslexia should disqualify him from being president, calling Trump's comments "extremely ignorant and offensive."

Newsom has frequently spoken about living with dyslexia, a common learning disability that can make reading more difficult and affect spelling and speech. He has said he prefers not to rely on teleprompters because of the condition, and wrote in a recent memoir that, when he was younger, he overcompensated by memorizing “pretentious words.”
