People Reveal Which 'Truth' They Always Lied About While Playing 'Truth Or Dare'

What's the worst- revealing a dark truth or doing an embarrassing dare? It's truly a case of pick your poison, especially in social circles during childhood and adolescence. Here's the thing about truth, though- you can always lie.

Good call.

I got asked if I'd ever had sex with someone in the room other than my girlfriend. I had sex with her friend about 3 weeks before I even met my gf but me and her friend had decided to keep it secret because it was a one time thing.

I said no, and that turned out to be the right idea. Was with that gf for 6 years in a very loving and fulfilling relationship. I did tell her eventually, but we'd only been dating a couple of weeks, it would have ruined things. By the time I told her she didn't care.

That relationship ended, but I'm glad I had it.

Isn't that a scene in "Perks of Being a Wallflower"?

The worst is when you're asked who you would have sex with in the room and your just sitting there thinking "I'd definitely bang so and so," cause you're a horny 16-year-old but you lie because you're embarrassed and awkward.

u/Gunt_Inspector

Oh no.

I always gotta lie about when I lost my virginity because the answer is a low number and it kills the mood. It's a real pickle because I don't wanna lie but I've seen people bring that kind of stuff up in lighthearted games and it never ends well.

u/franticantelope

Why would you play that with your family?!

"Are you still a virgin?"

I mean I was playing with my family then my dad asked me that question what the hell was I supposed to say? "Why yes dad, I'm no longer a virgin. In fact, I lost it to your friends son Harvey."

u/insecurelittlegaykid

Fair.

I would never violate Truth or Dare rules like that.

u/SamsonBrolic

That's some childhood logic right there.

That I had had my first kiss. People I barely knew and wouldn't have to see again soon, wasn't going to let them think I was completely inexperienced.

u/forgotusernameoften

Jingle bell ROCK.

Giphy

Were you the one shagging [REDACTED] last year at the Christmas party?

Why yes, Susan. I was in fact Naughty Santa. But unlike the real thing, I come more than once a year.

u/PuPPy94new

Blast from the past.

I got asked if I'd ever performed fellatio. It was like 1994. I said "no", and got so defensive it ruined the whole game for everybody, but I blame the prick who asked.

To clarify, the reasons I lied and lied so aggressively was that I:

  1. Had homophobic foster parents.
  2. Had a girlfriend.

Bad call.

My social security number. Didn't even have it memorized at the time.

When Truth or Dare gets real.

Giphy

I was playing truth or dare with my Christian friends. I say truth when it was my turn and they ask "Do you believe in god?" I knew how extremely religious they and their parents were but I didn't want their parents to find out and prevent me from seeing them so just said "Yeah lmao".

I_Buy_Ur_Mom

The go-to question.

They always asked "are you a virgin?"

Most people lie because they are a virgin.

I lied and said I was a virgin. I wasn't, but it wasn't something I was particularly fond of talking about. It lost my virginity far too early. It was essentially peer pressure sex and I was 13.

I consider my loss of virginity was the moment I had enjoyable sex, and that was 17.

Aussie-Nerd

That's awful.

I was playing with a group of friends and my at the time c**t girlfriend. I was asked if I was ever in an abusive relationship. I had to say no. My girlfriend would hit me when she got mad. I had enough when she tried to attack me with a knife.

Domn94

Time to pick dare.

"What's your phone password?"

Abahot

Fair.

Giphy

Would you rather have sex or chocolate?

I said sex.

'Dr. Pimple Popper' Star Reveals She Suffered Stroke While Filming Series: 'I Had A Part Of My Brain That Died'

It's already scary to witness a younger person go through a life-changing medical diagnosis, but it's especially jarring to see a medical professional, who presumably knows best about how to care for themselves, go through the same.

Sandra Lee, known as "Dr. Pimple Popper" on Lifetime, is well-known for her bedside manner, medical knowledge and ability to share her knowledge in an accessible way, and, of course, her unique approach to dermatological care.

Rob Schneider Dragged For Criticizing Elizabeth Banks' 'Dangerous Rhetoric' After She Called Out White Female Trump Voters

After actor and filmmaker Elizabeth Banks—who played Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games—called out white women who voted for President Donald Trump, MAGA actor Rob Schneider lashed out against what he referred to as her "dangerous rhetoric."

Those who've read the book and seen the film adaptation of The Hunger Games know that Trinket—known for joyfully announcing, "Happy Hunger Games and the odds may be ever in your favor!"—is a mistress of propaganda for a hostile government that forces teenagers to fight to the death every year to intimidate critics and keep society's poorest and most vulnerable in line. Trinket eventually embraces the rebellion.

Kid Rock Dragged After Offering Massive Discount To His MAGA Festival Due To Abysmal Ticket Sales

Musician Kid Rock has hitched his wagon to president Donald Trump for quite some time now, and it seems he too is in the "find out" stage of that particularly exercise in FAFO.

It seems that when the president you form your entire personality around craters to a catastrophic approval rating even for him, your ship starts to sink too.

Army Secretary Sparks Outrage After Shutting Down Army Social Media Accounts For Honoring Tammy Duckworth's Military Service

Army Secretary Dan Driscoll is facing heavy criticism after he ordered that all accounts associated with the Army unit "Soldier for Life" (SFL) be shut down after the unit shared a post on social media celebrating Illinois Democratic Senator Tammy Duckworth's military service.

Duckworth is a double amputee who lost both of her legs in combat in 2004 when her Black Hawk helicopter was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade fired by Iraqi insurgents.

Trump's Border Czar Ripped For Hypocrisy After Telling Pope Leo To 'Stay Out Of Politics'

President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan was called out for hypocrisy after telling Pope Leo XIV to "stay out of politics" after he clashed with Trump over the widely unpopular war in Iran.

Last week, Pope Leo criticized the war and called on the world "to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything."
