Harry Styles' "As It Was" is topping the charts after its release last week, but it seems Oasis' Noel Gallagher is not happy about it.

Gallagher told Daily Star Styles and other performers who were involved with shows like The X Factor aren't "real" musicians.

He said:

"The X Factor is a TV show, it's got nothing to do with music—it's got nothing to do with music whatsoever—and anything that has come from that, that's got nothing to do with music."

Gallagher continued:

"You're not telling me Harry Styles is currently in a room somewhere writing a song."
"With any joy, he'll be surrounded by a lot of girls, I can assure you he's not got an acoustic guitar out trying to write a middle eight for something."

It would seem most people disagree with Gallagher's assessment of Styles' talent, though, as his most recent single is definitely doing numbers.

It's not just young women who like Styles' music, though they do make up the majority of his fans.

Some folks tried to be understanding of Gallagher's position, but still thought he was wrong.

It would seem not all of the Gallagher family dislikes Styles.

Which, given the brothers' relationship, might explain why Noel doesn't.

Harry Styles isn't the first successful modern music act Gallagher has gone after.

He criticized girl group Little Mix last year after they won a BRIT award.

Singer Jade Thirlwall had the best comeback to his criticism at the time.

He also apparently has an issue with Taylor Swift and Ed Sheehan.

Twitter responded to Gallagher's latest hot take with general distaste.

Noel Gallagher may not be happy about it, but it seems like Harry Styles isn't going anywhere.

His newest album releases next month and the hype is real.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

MAGA Politicians Called Out After Falling For AI-Generated Photo Of U.S. Airmen Rescue In Iran

At least two Republican politicians are facing criticism after they fell for a clearly A.I.-generated photo of the rescue of two U.S. airmen whose fighter jet went down in Iran over the weekend.

U.S. special forces rescued the second crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran, according to three U.S. officials cited by Axios. The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.
