Woman Horrified After Accidentally Shattering Roommate's $249 Louis Vuitton Chocolate Purse
Jun 05, 2025
There are a few "roommate etiquette" rules we should all be able to agree to: don't use or take something that doesn't belong to you, at least without asking; don't eat your roommate's food; and honestly, don't touch their food, especially with your bare hands.
A leading rule, however, should be: If you break something that belongs to your roommate, you should replace it.
But TikToker @tallertoddlers did not seem to understand those rules as she began to film herself ranting about the extravagant item her roommate had recently acquired.
As she opened the fridge, the TikTok vented:
"I just want you to imagine how it felt opening the fridge to get some s**tty leftovers and finding this..."
She then pulled out a large chocolate shaped like a purse that her roommate had received from a guy who really liked her on their first date. It was a Louis Vuitton chocolate purse, valued at $249.
The TikToker held up the purse with a smug look on her face. She was about to vent about what the item was when the handle snapped, and the body of the chocolate purse dropped to the floor, shattering everywhere.
The TikToker's mouth was wide open, and she repeatedly glanced back at herself in the camera, probably hoping what had just happened had not actually just happened.
She repeated:
"Oh my god, oh my god. I just broke the purse. I just broke the chocolate purse."
You can watch the video here:
@tallertoddlers I just broke the chocolate purse. #funny #20s #louisvuitton #nyc
Fellow TikTokers were angry on her roommate's behalf, demanding that she fix her mistake.

To add insult to injury, the TikToker then invited her friend, who was staying with the two roommates for a few days, to taste test the chocolate Louis Vuitton bag, including the center filling, which she claimed had a "hazelnutty flavor."
You can watch the second video here:

This only served to make fellow TikTokers even angrier than before.

A few days later, the TikToker claimed to "apologize" to her roommate for breaking the chocolate bag by buying her a simple cake with white frosting.
The frosted writing on the cake read:
"This is not a Louis Vuitton cake. But HBD!"
She claimed that her roommate forgave her for the incident, and her roommate appeared to laugh in the video when she saw the cake.
You can watch the third video here:

Fellow TikTokers were not impressed by the "replacement" cake.

Mistakes do happen, and there are other reasons, like buying new groceries or reorganizing the fridge, that might have led the TikToker to touch her roommate's chocolate purse.
But using the incident for views, eating the chocolate herself, and not even buying her roommate a suitable replacement screams of jealousy and petty revenge, not friendship.

'The Sandlot' Star Surprises Baseball Fans By Stepping Up To Bat At Savannah Bananas Game
Jun 05, 2025
Millennials everywhere who weren't at a recent Savannah Bananas game will be sent into a nostalgic spiral when they see the video of Patrick Renna, better known as Ham Porter or "The Great Hambino" in the 1993 film The Sandlot, stepping up to bat.
The Savannah Bananas provide the perfect interactive baseball game experience for fans and families, and inviting well-known personalities is just part of their repertoire.
But inviting someone like Renna to the batter's box is almost too iconic to handle.

— ScoobaSteve (@GoBirds193) June 2, 2025
As he walked up from the bench, he was introduced:
"Coming to bat, the Great Hambino! Ham Porter!"
He raised his helmet up over his head to the screams of the crowd, and when he stepped up to the plate, he did his iconic stance from The Sandlot, pointing one finger out to the crowd, implying a homerun that Babe Ruth would be proud of.
You can watch the magic moment here:

The first pitch was a fastball. He missed and called out the nostalgic line:
"Hey! This is baseball, not tennis!"
After missing the second one, he called out another line:
"You call that the heater?!"

Renna finally hit the third pitch, a shallow right clip, which was easily caught by an outfielder. Though he didn't get a chance to run the bases, the team gathered around him in appreciation, and the crowd went wild.
Twitter (X) users could not get over the iconic moment.
@patrickrenna had a great Instagram and tiktok presence. Dude is really funny.

Sure, fans would have loved to see Renna hit a home run and slowly trot the bases while pointing to the horizon as he did in the film. But it was still awesome to see him out there again!

TikToker Calls Out TSA 'Choir' For Singing At Airport Instead Of Helping With Long Line
Jun 05, 2025
Imagine being stressed and late for your flight, and suddenly you hear a choir start to serenade you while you're waiting in line.
While the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas might have thought that implementing a choir would be a soothing and enjoyable experience to get future flyers in the mood for their vacations, the actual travelers did not see it that way.
TikToker @yeniyazmin1 was on her way out of Las Vegas, waiting in the very long security lines at the Harry Reid International Airport, where the Transport Security Administration (TSA) was clearly understaffed.
The TikToker reached the point where she was worried that she would miss her flight, and a TSA agent reassured her that she was doing the best that she could.
That was when the choir tuned in and began singing "I'll Rise Up" from a stage that was set up just beyond the area where flyers go after they've completed the security check. The choir was made up of fellow TSA agents who were volunteering on their days off.
You can watch the video here:
@yyw800 Harry Reid airport in Las Vegas has line of baggage waiting to be checked with only 1 person checking each side and they have the TSA chorus performing??? Make it make 🤬 sense!!! #lasvegas #vegas #vegastiktok #tsa #tsaprecheck #harryreidairport #fyp #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #viral
According to the TSA, agents are often villainized by travelers for their cold demeanor, and the Harry Reid International Airport wanted to do something to close the gap between the agents and the passengers.
They believed that by doing something like a choir, it would get their passengers in the mood for their vacations, instead of stressing so much about moving through the checkpoint, and the passengers might begin to see the agents in not so harsh of a light.
But fellow TikTokers reassured @yeniyazmin1 that if she hadn't posted the video, they wouldn't have believed it.

It's nice that the airport is trying to make the entire experience of being at the airport, including going through security checkpoints, a little more enjoyable and a little less stressful for passengers.
However, for passengers who are just trying to get to their flights on time, they'd probably prefer to see the additional TSA agents who are volunteering on their days off stop singing and start scanning some bags.

Marlon Wayans Shares Colorful Photo To Honor Pride Month—With A Powerful Reminder For 'Straight Men'
Jun 05, 2025
Actor and comedian Marlon Wayans is being applauded after sharing a heartfelt post to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month that highlights importance of the event, especially in these times.
Wayans, whose son Kai is transgender, shared the colorful post on Instagram, featuring a photo of him in a bathtub full of rainbow-colored orbs.
Along with the photo, Wayans included a caption expressing his unwavering support for LGBTQ+ people and an important reminder for straight men, especially those who are homophobic.
The caption read:
"Happy Pride to all my LGBTQ peeps."
"From my block to my schools to my cast and crews to my friends to my family… where ever you are or have been in my life I wish you all love and support. You can be a straight man and still love gay people."
Wayans speaks from experience, having been candid about how much he struggled to accept his trans son—but also how quickly he moved past it.
During an appearance on the IMO Podcast in April, he told hosts Craig Robinson and former First Lady Michelle Obama:
"When they went through the transition, I actually went through the transition. I went from denial to complete acceptance. It took me a week to get there."
He gave a poignant take on parenting an LGBTQ+ child that many parents these days could stand to listen to.
“What I’ve learned as a parent is for you to stop loving your child because of their choice and their life, that’s a poor reflection on you..."
"...I’m going to love my baby, I’m a father. I’m always going to defend them, I’m always going to protect them, I’m always going to respect them.”
On social media, many applauded Wayans for his take on Pride Month and how straight men should approach the LGBTQ+ community.
Here's hoping more men follow Wayans' lead.

Teacher Blows Students' Minds By Creating 'Millennial Museum' With Their Parents' Help
Jun 05, 2025
There are countless amazing teachers in the world, but there are some out there who just "get it."
History teacher and TikToker Malinda Nichols doesn't just teach history—she immerses her students in the worlds of different decades, generations, and historical events through costumes, decorations, fun facts, interactive activities, and the occasional party.
In the past months, Nicols has created immersive decade studies for the students to explore, including a '60s day to highlight that "Boomers weren't always out-of-touch old people."
Most recently, she collaborated with fellow elder Millennials and Gen Xers, the parents of the Gen Alpha students in her classroom, and put together a "Millennial Museum" for the students to explore.
Nichols and the parents gathered up various Millennial artifacts, from appliances found in the home like a rotary phone to fun toys that passed the time, like Nintendo GameBoys and Furbies. Beanie Babies even made an appearance!
Some of the parents even visited during the event to demonstrate how to use different game systems, electronics, and home appliances, and they answered questions, like how they used to make plans with their friends before texting was an option, or what songs and commercial jingles from their childhoods they still get stuck in their heads sometimes.
You can watch the video here:
@hipsterhistorywithmrsn Welcome to Part 2 of the Museum of the Millennial: curated by parents, gasped at by 6th graders. 🎧📼📟 This pop-up classroom exhibit TRULY had it all: ✨ Rotary phones (thought they figured it out but then they tried to “press the middle button to make it go through.” What a learning moment.) ✨ VHS tapes (Be Kind, Please….do what?) ✨ Folded hearthrob posters (Gen Alpha, meet #JTT and #DevonSawa) ✨ Beanie Babies (“My mom has purple princess one! Is it worth anything?!”) Not sure they were ready for ancient artifacts of the previous century, but when their parents SURPRISED them and showed up TO EXPLAIN IT ALL (like Clarissa), welllll, it wasn’t just a throwback…it was living tangible history. And it was hands down one of the very best days in my classroom EVER. If you love seeing classrooms bring history to life in creative and hilarious ways — follow for more reels like this! Let’s make history weird, fun, and unforgettable together. 🙌 👀 Want to bring this lesson to your own classroom? This is in my TpT store for free! The download even includes directions on creating the perfect AOL Screen Name and Away Message! #MillennialMuseum #PopCultureInTheClassroom #ReverseShowAndTell #AncientTech #MillennialParents #RetroRewind #MiddleSchoolMoments #HistoryIsCool #TeachersOfInstagram #Edutok #ClassroomReels #ThrowbackTeaching #90sKidsUnite #TeacherContentCreator #HistoryClassroom #HistoryTeacher
The students proved to be so invested in the experience, imagining the fun days of the '90s and the era their parents grew up in, that Nicols included a few other activities after the museum, like watching the beloved family film Casper.
@hipsterhistorywithmrsn Our 6th grade classroom turned into a pop culture time machine this week. Parents surprised students by bringing in “historical artifacts” from their own childhoods—growing up in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s—as we studied the decade of dial-up, denim, and discmans. We laughed. They gasped. We explained what a floppy disk was. This generation of parents didn’t just live history—we were the bridge from analog to digital, from mixtapes to MP3s, from landlines to livestreams. And maybe we’re only just realizing what a radical shift that was. To our kids, it’s ancient tech. To us, it’s memory lane. To historians… it’s officially history. #90sKids #GenX #MillennialParents #FromAnalogToDigital #RetroInTheClassroom #MiddleSchoolMagic #SocialStudiesClass #HistoryCameToLife #Edutok #TeachersOfInstagram #ThrowbackVibes #TBTEveryDay
Fellow TikTokers felt a mixture of amusement and nostalgia over the curated museum.

Others were shocked that they were old enough to be included in a museum.

Especially with how we're all presented on social media, it's easy to "other" each other and imagine each decade as completely different, separate, and unable to get along. But through explorative exercises like this, it's easier to imagine how someone else grew up, what life was like for them, and what they might actually have in common with the person looking at their memories.
Ms. Nichols has made printouts available to make it easier for other teachers to curate similar museums, and hopefully more Gen Alphas—and beyond—will be able to experience the fun of Millennials and other generations.
