The Oscar winner and self-proclaimed 'pickle expert' went viral with his post celebrating National Pickle Day.

Unless you love pickles, the fact November 14 is National Pickle Day may have slipped past your radar.

Yes, it's a thing.

National Pickle Day was created to celebrate one of the world's favorite fermented food.

According to National Today, pickles are so unbelievably popular across the country, that "the number of pickle-eaters is projected to proliferate to more than 250 million by 2023."

To make sure pickles were given the respect they deserved, actor Matthew McConaughey honored his favorite snack with a throwback photo on Instagram.

The pic was of himself holding a jar of pickles in front of an open refrigerator, crouching in the buff.

The caption for the delicious post simply read, "pickled," accompanied by the hashtag, #nationalpickleday.

Without further ado, here is naked Matthew McConaughey holding pickles.

So why would McConaughey give pickles so much love?

Well, according to his Instagram bio, the Dazed and Confused actor is a self-ascribed "Pickle Expert.

See?

JD Vance Slammed After Baselessly Claiming Woman Killed By ICE In Minneapolis Was A 'Deranged Leftist'

Vice President JD Vance was criticized after he claimed without evidence that Renee Nicole Good—the woman fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday—was a "deranged leftist."

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin claimed Good “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them.” But Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey pushed back against this narrative considering witnesses described seeing Good in the vehicle trying to flee officers when she was shot.
