Mary Trump Expertly Calls Out Meghan McCain for Missing Her 'View' Interview—and People Are Living for It
ABC // ABC

Former President Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, rose to fame last year with the release of her tell-all book, Too Much and Never Enough, which gave a harrowing look into Donald Trump's upbringing and character.

This week, Mary Trump appeared on The View to discuss her new book, The Reckoning.

Noticeably absent from her segment was the show's conservative cohost, Meghan McCain, who will withdraw from The View at the end of this week, concluding a tumultuous four year run that often earned her the ire of the internet.

Mary Trump took a swipe at McCain while discussing the Republican party's use of racism to motivate its voter base.

Watch below.

Ms. Trump said:

"We need to continue having the kinds of conversations about race and gender that you have. This is an incredibly powerful platform. ... It's a shame that your colleague didn't have the courage to come on and have this conversation with me."

As "Mary Trump" began to trend on Twitter, McCain tweeted a countdown to her final appearance on the show, accompanied with a GIF from Mad Men.

In a prior appearance on the show, Mary Trump and McCain had a tense interaction in which McCain accused her of exaggerating her relationship to the Trump family and excoriated her for having dinner with them at the White House. Trump responded that McCain's characterization was "absurd."

Once again, people found themselves siding with Mary Trump.

People don't seem sorry to see McCain go.

McCain's final day on the show is this Friday.

Model Accuses Fashion Brand Of Using AI To Recreate Her Looks For Ad Instead Of Hiring Her

There used to be laws in place for someone's likeness being used without their consent, and most certainly if their likeness was being used in an exploitative way for profit.
