Kellyanne Conway Announces She's Leaving White House After Her Daughter Seeks Emancipation

After working on his 2016 campaign, Presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway was offered a White House job by President Donald Trump.

Since then, Conway has become one of the most familiar faces of the Trump administration, readily doling out talking points to justify policies and falsehoods put forth by the White House. To many Trump critics, Conway's work for the President has played an insidious role in normalizing the chaos and cruelty occurring during Trump's tenure as President.

Like numerous other Trump officials have done before her, Conway announced on Sunday that she would be leaving the White House.

Conway cited a need to focus on her family in a statement:

"I will be transitioning from the White House at the end of this month. George is also making changes. We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and 'tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids 'doing school from home' requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times"

Conway's announcement comes at a time of much speculation regarding the dynamics of the Conway family. Her husband, Conservative lawyer George Conway, is a vocal opponent of the President and one of the founders of the anti-Trump PAC, the Lincoln Project.

Conway's 15 year old daughter, Claudia Conway, went viral this past summer for a series of TikToks decrying the administration employing her mother.

The day before Kellyanne Conway's announcement, Claudia Conway fired off a series of tweets claiming her mother's job had "ruined her life" and that she was working toward familial emancipation.

In a later tweet, Claudia Conway announced that she'd be taking a break from social media.

George Conway also announced that he'd be withdrawing from the Lincoln Project.

The dynamics and timing of Kellyanne Conway's announcement only added more fuel to speculation about the Conway family.

Regardless of the impetus of Kellyanne Conway's departure, people were happy to see her go.

Some predict that Kellyanne will become yet another ally-turned-critic of the President.

Stephen Colbert Rips CBS For Banning Interview With Texas Democrat Due To FCC Threat

Late-night host Stephen Colbert criticized CBS for attempting to ban him from interviewing Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, and from even mentioning the interview on air, due to threats from Brendan Carr, the chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Talarico, who represents Texas in the state House, has previously made headlines for calling out Texas Republicans for "trying to force public schools" to display the Ten Commandments and has generated significant buzz as a forceful voice for Democrats in a state largely in the hands of the GOP.

American Girl Dolls Just Got An 'Ozempic' Makeover For The 'Modern Era'—And People Are Not Impressed

There's nothing quite like the grip American Girl dolls had on Millennials during the mid-1990s and early 2000s.

Created in 1986 by the Pleasant Company, American Girl dolls were meant to model positive core values with dolls that resembled young women from various time periods across American history and different favorite hobbies, like horseback riding and cheerleading.

'Wall Street Journal' Ripped After Saying Millennials And Gen Zers Are 'Splurging' On 'Rotisserie Chickens' Instead Of Buying Homes

It's sadly all too common for older generations to look down on millennials and criticize their constant complaining about how "hard" life is and how they can't afford to be homeowners.

That criticism almost always ignores factors like the rising cost of housing, increasingly low salaries, and a continuous housing shortage.

Trump Roasted After Making Bonkers Comparison Between Gas Prices In Iowa And California

President Donald Trump was widely mocked for making a nonsensical comparison between gas prices in Iowa versus California during a ceremony at the White House in which he was given an award for being the "undisputed champion of beautiful clean coal."

Trump's recognition reportedly came from the Washington Coal Club, a pro-coal advocacy organization with financial links to the sector. The award was presented by James Grech, chief executive of Peabody Energy, the nation’s largest coal producer. The bronze trophy depicts a miner equipped with a headlamp and pickaxe.
